Hotel & Resort Le Axidie

The staff was simply Amazing! Right on the sea and a beautiful location. Beds were a little stiff as well as the pillows. Getting to and from the hotel took a little bit of planning. But we did figure out how to walk to the hotel, down the side of the mountain from Vico Equense. Getting to Sorrento was a bit expensive and getting to the hotel from Vico was expensive as well for such short drives.

The beach and views of Vesuvius were stunning The pathways and boards to the wellness center, pools and beach were confusing and not very pretty. I hope you improve the construction for over walking paths that are more direct for guests wanting to relax.

The location of the hotel was everything; the views are stunning! Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. The pools and bar were nice. The view from the breakfast was amazing! This is not a 4-star hotel, maybe 20 years ago it was, but now it's very outdated. The location was inconvenient if you didn't have a car.

This hotel exceeded our expectations for our honeymoon! The location could not have been more perfect. The hotel was incredibly clean, well maintained, full of amenities, with gorgeous views, and incredibly nice staff. The beach and views were amazing and it had everything we needed. We loved the location because it's a short train ride to Naples, Pompeii, and Sorrento but you're away from the big crowds of places like Sorrento. It felt like a more local vibe in Vico Equense while still giving us everything we wanted such as places to shop for wine at night and great restaurants. There's a giant hill to get from the hotel to the town but the bus runs every 30 minutes and it's super easy to use, the bus stop is right outside the hotel and when the bus comes you just walk on and pay using coins or bills. The bus will take you to the train stop in town and from there you can easily get to anywhere you want to go. The ferry also will pick you up right next to the hotel and we did that to go to Capri for the day, just get your tickets online and wait for the ferry on the dock. The entire resort has the most amazing view of Mount Vesuvius and we will never forget how gorgeous that view was, it was like being in a ferry tale. The breakfast each morning at the hotel was amazing too, it was a massive spread of pastries, eggs, meats, fresh breads, yogurts with all the toppings, fresh fruit, fresh juices, a full cafe where they ask you what you want to drink as soon as you arrive. The beach though was the best part for us and it by far beats anywhere else you could stay because most places in this area including Sorrento don't have a normal beach like this where you just walk out of your hotel and you're on the beach (most have super long stairs you have to walk down from a cliff in order to get to a tiny little beach or a dock to swim i.e., a 30 minute walk up/down hill at other hotels). There wasn't anything we didn't like! If we had to search for one thing to complain about it would be the shower was a little on the small size but that wasn't a problem at all because we're used to going on cruises which have even smaller showers! Everything was amazing at this hotel.

Location, pools and swimmable beach. Room with loft was a bit warm, but the fan they provided worked well. Plus, it’s July in Italy, and it was expected to be warm.

Everything was amazing from hospitality to setting outside Very clean, the best staff, extremely helpful. The beach and facilities were great! All the restaurants around were fantastic and local! The notices due to lack of insulation on the windows! And you can hear everything in the hallway!

We loved everything - they had a kids club, adult pools, kid pool, bar overlooking the beach. fantastic staff.

Not sure it could have been any better. The staff is amazing and super helpful. Facilities were very clean and it was a great value. Great A/C. Book this place! Having to leave.

The shower is too small.and you can hardly move.

We couldn’t use the adult pools or spa because we had our kids with us. That was upsetting. Also the kids pool was very cold and disappointed that there was no jakuzzi next to the kids pool. Very disappointing.

Beautiful location with stunning views of the sea and cliffs. The room was oddly laid out with a lot of wasted space. The bed was jammed into a domed ceiling less than two meters high that we hit our heads on every night. Right up against the busy street facing the bar across the street that played loud music until 1 am. The “festivities” that took place multiple nights in a row made for a very difficult experience. With no access to food in the evenings and being mostly stuck in the hotel area we had to spend 260 euro just to eat dinner. And it was awful.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The location was perfect – close to everything but still peaceful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We had a fabulous time and absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Axidie. The location was wonderful, and the customer service we received was excellent throughout. A special thank you to Valentina for going above and beyond – your warmth and helpfulness truly made our stay extra special. There was nothing that we disliked about this property. Excellent value and would definitely recommend Hotel Axidie.

The hotel staff were excellent. Great hotel for families. Should make sure room is suitable for elderly grandparents so they don't have to climb stairs. Breakfast was fantastic with great staff ready to refill your coffee. The wellness pools were great and our kid enjoyed the tennis court. Great views at night over the Harbour. The only thing is that dinner timings were a bit difficult to guess as options were limited in mid April and we didn't know where to go for a quick meal. Had we asked, I'm sure the front desk could have made some recommendations. Overall, excellent quality.
