I loved the nice, relaxed and soothing ambiance, the traditional setting and the relaxing music that plays in the background. The staff were absolutely brilliant; easy to talk to, friendly and helpful. I really couldn't find much to dislike; I can only think of positive things to say. I was very comfortable and the staff made everything convenient.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Josefine. The attention to detail, the charm of the hotel, and the staff g above and beyond. I will be back. I really have no complaints. I suppose a stronger A/C system would've been nice but I understand we are in Vienna with older systems. Perhaps a room with a bathtub. I would've loved for there to have been late night food in the bar.

Extremely friendly staff, at the réception who tried to speak french with me, and in the breakfast room. The atmosphere is very nice, its like travelling in time. The Hotel is 50m from a metro stop. My bed was very comfy. You have free tea in the music room, it's great to read even in the evening. My room was very cold (17 degrees) when I arrive, probably because of american guests who love AC. Except that, nothing.

The breakfast was solid. The location is great. In between a few subway stations and just off a main shopping street, but far enough away that you don't really know its there. I LOVED the decor. Its gorgeous and the main reason I chose this hotel. Super cute and comfortable. Beautiful art deco luxury. The room was smaller than I expected, albeit really comfortable. And the elevator didnt actually stop on my floor, I had to walk down half a staircase. Oh and while the physical keys were nice, the doors required you to use them to essentially lock yourself in. So it was a little cumbersome

Stylish room and closely located to the U3 metro station. You could not charge or use sockets unless the main light in the room was on. This is really poor as phones couldnt be charged which is important for flight ticket and using maps during the day, really annoying and added stress where there shouldn't be.

Staff were amazing. Made my 30th birthday celebration an amazing experience!

An amazing hotel with the best breakfast ever (my husbands comment) Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was really fabulous. Would definitely return.

Vielleicht das schönste Hotel, in dem ich je untergekommen bin, über alle Preisklassen hinweg. Vom aufmerksamen Empfang an der Rezeption, der zentralen, aber ruhigen Lage, über den Begrüßungswein und das durchdacht geplante Einzelzimmer und das himmlische Frühstück – ich wäre gern länger geblieben! Beschwerde auf ganz hohem Niveau: Die Steckdose am Bett war so gelegen, dass man dort eigentlich kaum etwas einstecken konnte bzw. das Handy während des Ladens nicht ablegen konnte. Man musste Geräte also zum Aufladen auf den Boden in eine andere Eckes des Raums legen.

Great breakfast, good radio in the room, nice selection of music in lobby, and great choice of LPs in phonetic room. Great location too.
