Great staff and location. Quite clean and good value The inside of the building needs bit of renovation

For the price, it's a GREAT value! I understand that some of the comments referring to the smaller rooms, but I took the Quadruple Room, which was very spacious with nice view and good natural lighting. Everything was clean and comfortable and quite. For the price I paid, having this big clean room in such a central location in Vienna center is a great catch, and I recommend you to book this room if available. You need to understand this type of property, don't expect a high class hotel, bit a boutique place to stay. Building is old, but the facilities are new. But for the low price, it's worth the price.

The beds were neatly made, the sheets and towels were clean. The room was nice and warm :) The staff were friendly, showed us around and explained everything in detail. We paid extra to use the kitchen in our unit. The Wifi was little slow. Other than that nothing to complain.

The place was very clean and cosy. I also really liked the location, it was near many restaurants and a nice walk into the city. I would definitely stay here again! Nothing.

this hotel exceeded my expectations... it had great location. it is in central part of the city, has good connection to tram and u-bahn and it was very easy to go around and about the city, even, by foot. Also, supermarkets, shops and cafes, are 5 minute walks away, which was a priority of mine. also, the hotel and building itself felt so vintage looking and cozy, u really feel like in vienna while staying there. warm room, excellent bathroom and water pressure. Also, very nice staff. the room got ready for us before check in hours which was very nice gesture. active communication on whatsapp. Will be returning if i visit Vienna once again! :)

Hallway and stair to the pension in second floor were dark. There maybe a switch to turn the light on but it was not obvious to me. However, the stair did not feel so rundown like some reviews said. There is an elevator as well.

No A/C just a ceiling fan, with the fan on and the window open it's ok. There's no light in the hallway so it's a bit unsympathetic to enter at night. Other wise it was great.

First of all, the room was completely different from the pictures. The listing shows two separate bedrooms when selecting a quartible room, but in reality, it is just one room with two beds. This is misleading. While the room was clean and the staff were good, especially an Iranian girl Niku. The entrance to the building was very unwelcoming. Location is good. But Most importantly, the photos are false: they suggest two proper bedrooms, but in fact, there is only one bedroom, and the second “room” is simply an open sofa, not even a proper bed. Immediately you must change a photos. Superbly kind and accommodating staff! I was able to sit quietly in the breakfast room to take a few business calls after checking out which was a huge convenience. Located in the shadow of the Freud Museum and close to public transport and a Billa grocery store for maximum ease. The property feels like it was very recently renovated and fixtures are spotless and new. Daily cleanings, which feels like an extra luxury these days. The room was no-frills, spacious and well appointed with a small desk and chairs, giant wardrobe and—my favorite—plenty of wall hooks for easily hanging whatever you wanted. A small elevator will bring you to your floor if needed, otherwise easy, wide marble steps wind up the interior of the building. No A/C, but a big window and a ceiling fan and standing floor fan to create a good cross breeze. I arrived quite late and there could have been a little more informative communication about how to initially get to the check-in desk (which is on the second floor after entering the building from the street and proceeding down a hallway, turning to the left and walking up a few steps). Not impossible to figure out, but slightly daunting after a long flight and in the dark. This is not a critique, but it would have been even better if there was a mini fridge in the room.

We were super happy with our stay here! We were a little wary of booking just because of some of the reviews that said the building looked old and dirty. But we did not find that to be the case at all. The building was charming (yes, old) and the rooms were so cute and definitely clean. We shared a room with four people total and found it perfect for us! The area around the hotel is so nice too - streets with many good cafes and restaurants, and transportation was all super easy to navigate. I was also extremely impressed with the staff, as I booked it very last minute after another booking canceled and they messaged immediately to organize check in (and let us check in early!). I’d definitely recommend staying here!

The location was perfect and our room was suited just for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable and the view from the window to the street was beautiful and green. The location was also really good; near the stations and a lots of cafes and restaurants near by. It was also an easy walk to the city center.
