Clean room

Front desk staff were thorough, clear and efficient with the check in/out process. Breakfast was good. Having a coffee station outside of the breakfast nook would have been nice to have on an extended timeframe. The room had bedroom and a living room with bathroom between them. Nice setup. The overall cleanliness of the room was good but could use another set of eyes after the initial cleaning as they may see other opportunities to sharpen the room for the next guest.

At check-in, the staff member at the desk was very helpful in providing for our need to accommodate an additional guest who was traveling with my wife and I due to a recent death in the family.

Bar staff is overworked and a bit rude.

Very poor

Large clean room. Cold a/c. Great indoor pool. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Bar in lobby was great for nightcaps. Close to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel lobby had an immediate odor of overuse of deodorizer or perfume coming from the vents. The bathroom soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotions were strongly overscented. As a result, we did not use any of them. I had requested the full size bed be pulled out and made when we arrived. It was not. The mattress was very lumpy. We did not attend happy hour because of the odor and subsequently, we had an early, early checkout because the odor woke up my friend in the front room where the air conditioning unit was, and we did not have breakfast. Upon coming home, I went to urgent care because I had a severe headache and received a steroid shot in my hip muscle (not pleasant). I do not blame the staff for any of this. I think this is something that high level management and corporate is responsible for. Policy, procedure and instruction comes from the top and rolls down to the bottom. I chose your hotel for the convenience of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and closeness to Wolf Trap for a national symphony concert. Maybe location, location, location is not always the best way to go.

The room we were given #203 was supposed to be a studio suite. The bathroom toilet had very bad plumbing and a sewage smell kept coming out of the toilet.
-
our room was 407 and everything was great, the staff and the amenities were great and made use of everything. 2 free drinks during happy hour were a great touch to wind down the evening,

How quiet the hotel is We wish to pull out couch. Mattresses can be more comfortable just a little too thin.
-
Clean room bar was on point and hot breakfast.

Very good

You get a chit for one drink (from a particular list) for two people at the evening "reception." Last night they served chips and salsa and popcorn. In the morning there is full buffet breakfast including omelet station - all good.
-
Awesome staff! Clean and up kept. Could do without the $16 parking pass though

From my wife on our experience, This hotel gave me and my husband THE WORST EXPERIENCE. I would not recommend anyone of color to stay here. They made us feel very uncomfortable. From the moment we walked out of our room we were followed by a group of white people 3 men and a woman all the way down to the bar. This made me feel very uncomfortable and at that time I wanted to leave but my husband insisted we stay. We went to the front desk to ask for help for the wifi and the man at the desk stated the wifi in our room had been disabled and did not tell us why. He did not even look up from his computer the entire time we were talking to him. Even when I got upset because he would not help my husband when asked what he needed to do to get the wifi on. He gave us a card stating it was a promotion to have wifi and advised us to put in a code. Now wifi being a promotion? Where does it state this on the website. We paid the same fee everyone else did but was advised it was a promotion to have some damn wifi.? I love coming to Tysons Corner for multiple reasons but this is my first experience like this and I will never step foot back in this racist hotel. The service there is horrible and from the group that was in there seems to be what they attract. The room was fine which was the only positive thing about our stay.

the property was out dated and old and stained, staff were nice and breakfast was good but def couches and carpet were disgusting. Room service barely cleaned the room.
