Hilton Porto Gaia

We’ll run and efficient, great staff, nice restaurant. Too modern for my taste, like most new hotels it’s pretty, but in some ways inefficient. Shower was slippery due to construction and material, sinks were too small to get a water container under, doors were hard to open, toilet door wood no stay closed.

Location Windows are weak and outside noise came from the street to the room. During the last day no towers were provided.

Location, wellness, staff, view, etc. The beds are amazing! It is not that it is something I really did not like about the Hotel, but to point out is, that they need to take care of the room (door handle a bit loose, bit of mold in the shower, etc.) small details but important. same for cleaning under the bed, so much dust, sometimes the cleaning staff need to move the bed to clean under it.

Amazing bathroom. Comfortable beds. Very clean and nice linens. Dark hallways and room. Terrace was on astro turf and closed in by a wall that looked industrial. I think it was maybe the architectural intent. Maybe.

Great location in Gaia and very beautiful rooms. Hotel is very large and rooms are huge with a great outdoor veranda.

Staff were excellent- went out of their way to ensure everything was right. Nothing.

We were in the family room, and the top bathroom didn't have hooks for towels or robes. And the downstairs bathroom only had two. Could use more places to hang your robes/towels.

The spa was so unexpected and wonderful! The fee to use the spa was also very reasonable. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Hotel underground parking was convenient though price was on the high end. The view from our room.

N/A Did not have. Was hoping for a free continental breakfast, at least. No waste basket in the room & no washcloths. Bathmat was picked up but not replaced. Faucet handle fell off.

Our room was comfortable -- spacious, clean, included washcloths. Didn't feel comfortable opening curtains as the window/door opened to an open patio area that had no furniture or useful purpose but had doors to other guest rooms and to hallways. Breakfast was good. Staff were eager to provide information. It was often accurate. They didn't seem to have a lot of knowledge of the area in general. See above.

Many amenities . Decent breakfast although eggs served cold Our bathroom had a faulty shower that dripped all night, the bathroom sink malfunctioned many times and water wouldn’t come out and the bidet handle broke off . Not what you’d expect for a 5 star hotel. The front desk wouldn’t give us any credit toward the room price

Staff at check in gave us amazing service. The hotel was impeccable.

Everything very nice, very quiet rooms, good staff. The location is really good if you want to hangout near the “Cais de Gaia” or Ribeirinha. The location is great, however, mostly on the weekends if you call a taxi or huber it’s harder to access due to traffic.

The location was perfect . The restaurant and view from the third floor was fabulous. Front desk and Porters attentive and responsive. No hooks for towels in the bedroom or bathrooms. No full length mirror in duplex bedroom
