Location was perfect - near the main touristic area, also there was train to get to the city center. Friendly staff ? Breakfast was small but worth the price. The room wasn’t cleaned properly; the staff only made the bed and emptied the trash. By the third day of our stay, the floor desperately needed mopping ? Also, someone else's trash bag was left in our room by the housekeeping staff (hopefully by mistake), which spoiled our overall impression. The staff barely spoke English, but they were very warm and friendly.

The location was perfect! Quiet yet only minutes from the Jardim do Morro and metro. I loved the nearby restaurants. The room was perfectly situated and the bed was comfortable. Water pressure was great. Breakfast was simple but met my needs. Check-in was a little disjointed but it was quickly rectified.

Location was great. A short walk to Dom Luis bridge. Guy in the neighborhood who helped us locate the suite was very helpful, turns out he works at the barber shop that you pass on the way to the bridge. The woman who hosts breakfast in the morning is very warm and friendly.

Feel claustrophobic in a studio room. Toilet was smelly.

This was are 3rd stay at Serra do Pilar. Good value, great location for our needs, clean and secure. Hard to get in touch with someone when we arrived. Intercom not working and not answering the phone.

Property was fine but be sure to give exact descriptive details of how to get into the place sooner as we had a terrible time getting in because we were late in arriving.

This is a very nice place with a great team. The breakfast was very good and fresh, very clean, great location at Gaia, near the bridge. A special thanks to Yuri for made my stay even better. You are the best! Thank you!

It is very close to the city center, with comfortable beds and in a very quiet area. You couldn't hear a sound. Bonus points for the Porto wine, chocolate and water! Nothing

we had a very great stay. room was modern, comfortable, clean and quiet. the hostess was very welcoming, gave us some great tips on local restaurants and put out a fabulous breakfast. location a little off the beaten path but it was good to be away from the hoards of tourists.
