Excellent localization if you travel by car. Outside of the old center (which is not easy to drive), with wide backyard to park your car. And just short walk to the center. Stuff very friendly.

I really the liked the staff and their attention to tbe customers even though the hotel was full. The day we left, we left at 6 am and a staff member was up early to make an early breakfast and open the parking. The only problem we had was the water was not hot for taking a shower and that's an issue in Villa de Leyva which is cool at night. Tbe first day the problem was understandeable because the hotel was full but the 2nd day we were the first up at 5 am and still the water was cold.
