Pullman Viña del Mar San Martín

Proximity to central location of Viña Del Mar for businesses and restaurants and other activities. It’s not as soundproof as we wanted it to be. We could hear some street noise and when other clients were in the hallway en route to rooms or elevator, we could hear everything, was not easy to go into deep sleep, the noise was heard throughout the night.

Breakfast was exceptional. Parking was always an uncertainty. Also, the hotel didn't warn us that the main street (San Martín) was closed on Sundays and one Sunday we couldn't get out missing an important appointment in Valparaíso. We could have left our car across the street overnight or in another parking place, allowing us to leave Viña del Mar on time for our meeting.

Couldn't get the coffee machine to work, but if you went downstairs, they would give you a free coffee.

Good location Service Value for money

The staff at the entrance and the room, which was not value for money. The Musical Festival. Lots of parties. One night I could sleep because the party animal went to bed at 5:30 am.

Very clean and modern facilities

Clean Front desk staff had nose rings and tattoos showing. No beer on tap. Rooftop bar combined with kiddy pool is not appropriate. Very small rooms. Limited space to store and hang clothing. Refrigerator wasn’t working and had to be changed.

Beautiful room; very accommodating and kind front desk service; very clean; walking distance from a lot; safe area; beautiful beach; nice restaurants nearby; very relaxing; beautiful rooftop; breakfast was very nice and worth the cost The service at the restaurant and the rooftop was outrageously slow. Everything took almost 2 hours. They are clearly very understaffed and it does not seem like the wait staff knows how to handle more than 2 tables at one time. I have traveled extensively through Europe and this has to be the worst service times. The servers were still kind, but extremely negligent.

The hotel itself was attractive- nice lobby and restaurant/bar upon entering from street. Rooftop was an added surprise, as by day a quiet pool and seating area with a view of ocean below, but by night it transforms into a lounge with a great vibe. The rooms were sufficient, and comfortable. No fault to the hotel- as this place is really the best option for staying in Vina del Mar, it's just the location that was disappointing. We had high expectations that Vina was like another well-maintained beach resort town- Punta del Este- this was not anything like that fabulous city! It was dirty, seedy, and majorly cold- the beach town- not this hotel. I was happy to come to my room and stay inside, at least the hotel was charming, as right outside the front door, the street, non-existent restaurants and shops, and "coastline" was not the best place to be. One hit is taking the "taxi" service the hotel suggests, to the local wineries. Then the stay in Vina makes sense. Don't go here for the beaches!!!

The staff are exceptional. We had an issue with our car when we arrived and all the staff couldn’t do enough to help us out. Location is great and hotel is beautiful.

Excellent location. Beachfront and near many restaurants on main avenue. Walkable point of interest nearby. Excellent and friendly staff. Rooftop with excellent views. All good.

We were supposed to have an ocean view room, instead we had a view of a building and a construction site which was noisy with jack hammering. Traffic noise was bad, windows were not sound proofed. Definately not worth the money.

Beautiful property at a beautiful location. Staff was friendly, the breakfast was great! Everything was amazing!
