Esencia Hotel Boutique & Gourmet

Loved the comfort of the room and environment. The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and professional.

Our host Connie was wonderful. Was enthusiastic about her job, provided us very good restaurants with 5-6 blocks, as well as places to visit on our daily walks. Breakfast was provided and included wonderful continental options as well as eggs and coffee made to order. Overall, a great stay and would stay again if in the area. A nice boutique hotel offered character that lacks in the big hotels.

Location. Service, owner and staff, security, parking, value! A great overall experience. Water temp and pressure could be improved but acceptable

Loved our time at Esencia and want to return! Just right for a relaxed end of a month in Chile. Beach is handy, tons of food options, breakfast is very nice, super quiet, garden and patio are immaculate, staff is exceptional. (Don Emilio restaurant was fantastic, too!) Nothing

The place was a feast for the senses. Food, flowers, the view, the gardens. I would suggest a small container for disposal of napkins, etc. In the courtyard. We had carryout, and had no place for our containers except the trash container in our bathroom.

Very clean cosy . Bathroom a little old fashioned and small . Would not be our favorite location.

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. A generous buffet breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits, breads, and eggs made to order. A very quiet location, but only 5 minutes walk from the beach..Numerous restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity. The hotel has a shaded patio garden, perfect for quiet relaxation.

The property was beautiful, comfortable, charming and very well taken care of.

There wasn't any way of making tea or coffee first thing in the morning or during the day (other than breakfast)

Lovely hosts and staff. The breakfast was a real buffet, with lots of options, fresh and delicious. Eggs are made to your taste at the moment. The property is charming and away from the noise even in a great location close to restaurants.

We had a great 2 night stay. The location in Vina Del Mar is perfect - great neighborhood that is close to the beach. Constanza was amazing and the owners are lovely. We would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was wonderful with personally prepared eggs and coffee, complemented with a wide choice of fresh fruits, yogurts and cereals. The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. Communication with the hosts was smooth and efficient. The sea was within a short walk. The hotel is at the end of a cul de sac and can be missed when viewed from the main road.

Everyone at Esencia from the moment of arrival everyone was very friendly and welcoming, Making you feel at home immediately. It is obvious everyone takes pride in the service they provide. Also great prearrival communications. The breakfast is the best we have had since being in Chile, fresh and varied, and so much of it too. Other hotels could learn so much from Escenia on how to treat people and provide top class accommodation and service. Great location just a short walk from Vina del Mar beach plenty of local cafes and restaurants too. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was very comfortable and close to the waterfront. Breakfast was very good. Everyone was warm, friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay here again, if in the area! Nothing at all!

Prior to our arrival, the hotel staff was already helping with us with our itinerary, making suggestions and arranging transportation. The boutique hotel was well appointed, and the grounds were beautiful. They also had a fabulous restaurant conveniently located right around the corner. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, and this property is what all hotels strive to provide. The breakfast was perfect, with way too many options :) and the small dining room was just beautiful ! Esencia Hotel and their restaurant, is owned and operated by a small family. Everyone there is happy and smiling, as was I. Being "treated like family" is a term that in my opinion, is overworked but in this case, nothing could be truer! I loved these people and hated to leave. Viva La Familia !!!!! That I could not have stayed longer :)

Early check in, super friendly staff, location, safety. Poor heating.

Location The room was not equipped for winter. The heating did not work properly, and when it did work, it did not heat the room adequately. For the price, an experience like the one we had is simply not acceptable.
