Aqua Vista Resort Hotel

There’s literally one elevator that the staff and guests have to share making it clog up immediately and if you choose to take the stairs you’re greeted by a filthy hallway full of trash that smells like urine.

Pros: 1. Convenient location; right next to the beach and shops 2. Affordable price 3. No bed bugs or roaches in the room we stayed in Cons: 1. Bathroom floor wasn't swept; there were long stringy red hair strands and sand in many places 2. No shelving in the shower, or near it to put toiletries, such as shampoo or body wash 3. Pillow cases were stained 4. Water pressure from shower head was extremely weak 5. Shower curtain was too short allowing water to easily splash onto bathroom floor 6. Check-in was too long; took about 20 minutes to check in upon arrival 7. Parking lot is too small and located across the street, behind shops 8. Bathroom door lock was broken 9. TV started at the maximum volume of 100 each time it was turned on; there was no way to alter the settings to prevent this 10. Stairwell could use some extra care; there were broken steps and trash

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. No staff, very late check ins. No blankets on beds. No towels or washcloths. The pool was disgusting there was literal food in it. Floors were swampy, soaked, spills everywhere and not cleaned the whole weekend I was there. Do NOT recommend at ALL. TRUST me!

Close to beach and activities but check in was a nightmare..arrived at 5 for 4 pm check in and no rooms were ready..waited till 8 pm to finally get my room.

Stay at this hotel if and only if you just need a bed to sleep in. Also, know that once you check in you are on your own regardless of your stay length. As in, no clean towels, no new toilet paper, nothing. You can ask and they will tell you they will send something or someone up. They are lying. I did appreciate coffee in the “lobby” in the morning and that, while the workers were not helpful, they also were never rude. Parking was free as well which we appreciated. Oh and “pool view” is a window to a hallway no actual windows unless you are beachfront. But hey, what can you expect for the price. I just would have appreciated towels and access to a broom to remove sand from my room.

Check in was at 4pm and it wasn’t ready till 6pm and it was not properly cleaned and the stuff was rude even after the 2 hour delay to check into the room

It was very dirty ,I didn't have TV, microwave, or fridge service, and they handed over the room an hour late.

Front desk staff not helpful, no cream for coffee for 3 days, parking issues, my room was never cleaned, had to empty trash myself. Will never stay there again!

Horrible. Rooms wasn't ready when I got there at 4pm my rooms wasn't ready until around 7. My rooms were still dirty trash from other people in the pull out bed!

We couldn't check in until almost 5 o'clock. I ask for a higher room because of my husband's disability and that didn't happen. We had to park a block away and walk to the hotel. The chairs on the balcony are broke.

When I got there they were giving my room away when I booked the hotel it was pay at property. I booked 3 nights and they told me they gave one night away. I had to go somewhere else for the third night. The place was dirty. The only good thing was the ocean view. Don’t waste your time.

Excelente

Location is perfect. The building desperately needs new furniture and updates. However, the the room was clean. The balcony had lots of trash on it and the grassy area between the building and the ocean had a ton of trash that should be picked up. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were there four nights, but nobody came to clean the room one time or take out trash. . We had to constantly ask for new towels and toilet paper and sheets.
