La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Virginia Beach

The room was moist the whole time we were there and my daughter developed a rash from the sheets during our stay. Hallways reeked with the smell of dope and some the workers barely spoke English when you asked for assistance. Definitely will not be back.

Place smelled like puke. Spilled beer in the elevator. Windows dirty to the point you could barely see out of them. TV had a vertical line of dead pixels. Walls were thin so we could hear room and hallway noise. Show curtains were just that. No inside waterproof liner to keep water in tub. Soaps were tiny. Pool was tiny. Workout room has a strange layout with treadmills right up against the walls so you were staring right at walls. Wouldn't stay again.

The AC was leaking badly so the carpets were dripping wet and soggy all round the bed. Elevator like a Time Machine and AC unit in public areas hanging off the wall

There is very limited parking and is $16 per day. There is no mention of this when booking.

Tonya I believe her name is at the front desk is an absolute gem. She was friendly and helpful our entire stay from check in to check out. All the front desk staff were helpful and kind but notably her and the young woman working overnight Sunday 6/21. The Maitenance staff were very friendly and always working to maintain the property. The pool was clean and cleaned daily with a vacuum. Breakfast was fresh and hot and appreciated the variety, the young man working breakfast was very attentive and kind. The location was close by to everything we needed and the beach was a quick 2 min walk. I work in hotels so i can be particular but I was so very pleased with our stay and can’t wait to return.

Room was nice and clean, breakfast was ok.

Nothing. Place was rundown. Desk clerk could not speak English enough Room did not get clean. Had to ask for towels, breakfast was awful. Also we were not aware of ha to pay $16 per night to park

The pool was dirty and cloudy. The tv in our room was broken and the sheets had blood stains.

Great room, close the the beach, good breakfast served.

We had a good stay. The property and room was clean and the staff was helpful. The only concern was the pool was not “shocked” enough to clear the pool. All in all, it was a pretty good stay.

the fridge froze all our food and pop it was horrible the ac sounded like a thunderstorm and the tv didn’t work the past day Tonya at the front desk was the only one to help us. However unfortunately it was the last night we stayed. I called numerous times stopped at the front desk to tell them and no one did anything. The site tried saying they would give us 5 k bonus points. No I want a refund because it was horrible. The pool was yellow and cloudy it was so disgusting. Breakfast was good though! There’s supposed to be no smoking and it stunk so bad from weed it was just disgusting. No they did nothing to accommodate me either To much money for a crappy experience!!!

One of our double beds had pee on it. The staff checking us in treated us badly. I fo not recommend.

The location was excellent, the amenities were top-notch, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for memorable stay.

Staff was rude, elevator was on the opposite side of the hotel and it was jerking the whole time and you never knew if it was going to come down had to take the stairs a couple times, bed was dirty, BATHROOM HAD MOLD IN THE SHOWER ON THE CURTAIN AND THE CEILING WHEN YOU GET OUT you’ll be sneezing and coughing pool was dirty & very small

Tv did not work, they were upgrading system fir the whole time we were there. They were out of do not disturb signs, had to keep telling housekeeping not to ckean.

Clean room. Easy late night check in. Good breakfast (eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, yogurt, bagels and muffins with plenty of food right up till the breakfast cut-off time. Helpful, courteous staff. Very polite & professional contract company upgraded the tv’s in time to watch the World Cup. Convenient location 1 block to the beach. Plenty of parking. There were lots of noisy guests but the room was pretty sound proof. Great price!

-the hotel definitely didn’t appear like it was advertised via the online pictures. -the shower curtains needed to be updated, as there were mold spots on the inside. -the room smelled “old” and/or damp, hard to decipher between the two. Maybe the older A/C unit had something to do with it. -the hotel was getting started on updating their tv service during our trip, so we were without a tv for a day and a half. -lastly, the complimentary breakfast was good to have - it just would’ve been nice if there was some variety. Each day contained the identical menu options.

The included breakfast was a nice but limited touch.

My stay was good. Rooms weren’t cleaned everyday but cleaning staff asked if we needed more towels and to take out trash. TV’s are outdated, Zowii, was very helpful with solving our entertainment issue. Expensive stay. Overall, location is good, amenities were available (pool, viewing of Knicks finals game in the main lobby etc.) Continental breakfast was okay, the staff covering breakfast hours made themselves available, very helpful. I would Stay again for a different price.
