Clean room

First room had flies coming out the sink, no fridge, blankets, nasty sheets. Moved to the next room, no blankets small soaps, no breakfast at this location, room was under the garage area, no sunlight, horrible experience.

Didn’t have a room available after I had already paid and reserved one. Then the staff was very rude.

For the amount charged, I expected a much better level of cleanliness, comfort, and customer service. Based on my experience, I would not choose this hotel again and would recommend considering other options.

I did not like , when they could not provide rooms as per my booking confirmation. They lied and told me they are providing me upgrade with extra room and kitchen. There was no kitchen. Only extra sink, and microwave. One room air conditioning was working , where as another room no air conditioning. Maintenance tried 4 times and could not fixed . One bathroom bath tub was not draining water . Other bathroom toilet was not flushing.

I was running low on toilet paper, I requested a roll, service desk told me it was going to be delivery to the Rom but it never arrived.

Bad experience

Service terrible. Asked for extra towels (3 guests but only 2 towels) and received it 2 days later. Ice machine did not work. No cleaning person AT ALL during our stay. Staff just hanging around property smoking being loud.

Fire detector alarm kept beeping during the whole stay. Hard to fall asleep. Shower temperature never raised. Cold shower in the morning. Desk in room did not have a chair.

First room they gave us was not cleaned, second one we stayed in the carpet was wet, smelled terrible, stains on every towels, next door neigboors were smoking pot and it smelled in our room, walls are made out of cardboard.

I’m giving this hotel 2 stars. The only good thing about it is that it is very close to the boardwalk and we were able to get to the beach great. And we were on the side where the beach shops were which was good. There were some issues. We were in the second back part of the hotel, across the street from the main building. There is a pool in the area we were in, but there is no lifeguard on duty at all. That is a safety risk if you have children or if there was an emergency in the water. There should be one at all times during pool hours. The room we were in had water pressure issues. It took 10-20 minutes for hot water to spout out. We had issues with the TV in the bedroom as well. Quite a few times It said there was no signal when it was connected to the box and plugged in the wall. The bathroom sliding shower door didn’t look clean when we got there. There were water stains on it still from the previous guest. There were also some towels left outside that were clearly used when we arrived to our room. They were there the WHOLE time during our stay. Housekeeping never picked them up, which makes me think that they do not do routine housekeeping. We didn’t have many towels, (we used what we had). I usually ask whenever I see housekeeping but never saw anyone. There is a garage if the lot outside is full, which was helpful. It was free. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I would choose a different one when coming to visit Virginia Beach.

The rooms were in decent shape but not clean clean. We found old candy in the floor.

Great for a quick beach trip

Location was great Run down ….toilet was clogged second we got there and took forever for someone to come fix this …as soon as I was checking in others had multiple complaints about how dirty the rooms were …front desk staff was rude …boy with the man bun was making fun of a Chinese lady in line because she couldn’t insert her credit card in ….he was making fun with the heavier set rude lady behind the counter ….was not welcoming at all the dark skinned girl handed me a room key and parking pass didn’t give me any direction what’s so ever acted like I was an inconvience to her . I wouldn’t recommend. I actually would like some of my money back . Terrible .

I love the facilities around the property. The sweet frog was perfect for the children & the beach was literally across the street. The property was filthy! When we first walked in our room there were food crumbs everywhere on the floor… an old baby bottle was sitting right on top of the microwave. We went into the bathroom to ensure cleanliness & there was urine around the toilet seat, hair in the tub & the shower curtain was molded.

Close to the beach and shops and a good paths to walk. Mold on tub curtain, tub bottom brown, toilet sounded like a freight train or it run when flushed, we had to go across road to get clean towels every day, we were told to put dirty towels outside and they stayed there 2 days, pool was dirty, employees didn't speak or understand English, didn't see any housekeepin the few days we were there, we got our own trash out and put outside in trash can beside our room that didn't get empty daily, if we need anything we had to cross the street to go to another buildin and ask, I'm highly allergic to mold so we left 2 days earlier just horrible room. Will not stay there ever.

Visit started by them giving away our suite we had booked in advance...then they offer us a double bed standard room and give us a rollaway bed. No compensation for the smaller room either, just said "It's the same price"...well, we know thats not true at all. Scammers. Then we head to our room which is literally across the street from the lobby and seems to be the trashy add on rooms. Entire place was dirty and dingy and very dated. in the building we stayed in you hear live music from a restaurant blasting all night, keeping the kids up till late hours. it was just an overall bad experience, nothing like what we have had at other Ramada properties. I wrote a review to the location manager, but of course, fell on deaf ears cause they couldn't care less. They were short with customers, very unhelpful and lackluster. Your can tell they didn't seem happy to be there. This franchisee really needs a reality check from corporate. I would stay elsewhere...I have stayed in lower class hotels and motels and had a better experience. RUN RUN RUN!!!
