Sandcastle Resort On The Beach

We had a great time at the Sand Castle Resort. The location was the most important part it put us right at the pier and walking distance to great places we could afford like Dairy Queen etc. the restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing we had an excellent time. I know from past experience that it always rains on my birthday so the location was important we never got caught in the storm and were able to go out and have fun regardless of the weather.

Every thing was perfect we were there with a baby 9 months old and I can not asked for better service definitely coming back

Being a “resort” should mean something, I don’t know how this hotel was named a “resort”; other than to charge more per day. We booked a king bed with a balcony, we received a room on the top of the hotel (literally, the only room on the roof), no balcony no beach view, a good look at the roof and off shore ocean. To get to the room, you take the elevator to the 9th floor, walk to the very end of the hall, then up two flights of stairs. The person at the desk admitted the hotel tries to move guests to another room before they arrive but had no rooms to move us until the next day. When I complained, they blamed it on me for booking through Expedia. After getting all of our luggage to the roof, the front desk called and said they had a cancellation, we had to take our luggage back down to the lobby to make the change. The rating on Expedia was too high on this place.

Great location right on the boardwalk, friendly staff, convenient restaurants in hotel, plus bike rental and store on the ground floor.

Breakfast was not good . Rooms too small

Excelent staff, great views from the balcony, clean room.

We took 3 nights staying in a beach view 2 queen beds. The view was really good. Access to beach was really good. Little disappointed with the pictures and the actual room. There is no jacuzzi near the window of ocean view as mentioned in beach view rooms pictures. Not well maintained cleaner room and noted 1 roaches. Also stinky smell in surrounding.
