Anema Boutique Hotel & Villas Santorini

Our one-week stay at Anema Boutique Hotel in Santorini was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our trip. The villa exceeded all expectations- beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and filled with thoughtful details that made our stay feel luxurious and special. Having our own private pool was amazing and provided the perfect place to relax after exploring the island. What truly sets this hotel apart is the family-owned atmosphere and the outstanding staff. Every member of the team provided genuine, personal attention and was always available to help with recommendations, transportation, or anything else we needed. Their hospitality made us feel more like guests in their home than customers at a hotel. The breakfast buffet was another standout feature, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. It was the perfect way to start the day. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Vourvoulos Beach, which is a quiet, unorganized beach that we found relaxing and enjoyable. While the villas are not within walking distance of Santorini’s main towns and attractions, we found the location ideal. We highly recommend renting a car or using taxis, as most destinations are only a short 10–15 minute drive away. If you’re looking for a peaceful luxury retreat with exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and authentic Greek hospitality, Anema Boutique Hotel is an easy 10/10. We would return without hesitation. There wasn’t much to dislike, just keep in mind that a rental car or taxi is recommended since most of Santorini’s popular areas are a short drive away

We had an exceptional stay at Anema (13 nights). Our villa was beautiful and super comfortable with an incredible sea view and plunge pool. The breakfast and restaurant were delicious, and room service was super quick. It is set on expansive grounds with olive trees & grape vines in quiet Vourvoulos. The best thing about Anema though was the staff - they truly are a family and treat you like their own. I was injured during my stay and they did everything they could to make me comfortable. I wish more hotels were like this! The complex is also only 5 minutes drive to Fira and 5 minutes walk to the beach. If you are after a more quiet, idyllic stay but want to be close to the action, then this is it.

We received a very warm and welcoming reception—it truly feels like a home away from home! The facilities are excellent, and the restaurant offers good food. The staff is friendly, and the service is exceptional. There wasn’t much we didn’t like. The location is great—close to the capital, Fira—however, it is too far if you haven’t rented a car. While public transportation is available, it’s limited to just three buses a day, and taxi transfers can become quite expensive.

Everything, the whole resort was clean and very well maintained. The location was great for us as we were in a quiet location but found it very easy to travel to the various towns on the island. Nothing.

We had an amazing time at Anema. The rooms, the view, the food were all incredible! But the most amazing things was the sevice - which was nothing short of expectional.. All the staff were extremely attentive. They literally could not have gone out of their way to make our stay any better. They turned a truly wonderful stay into an exceptional one. We have nothing but praise for Anema!

We had a fantastic stay at Anema. The hotel is beautiful with a nice sea view. It's located on the non-caldera coast, but for us, this was an advantage as you escape the mad crowds of the other side. The included car rental made it easy to hit all the highlights of the island. On that side, you also get the opportunity to see the magnificent sunrise. We selected the Vorias suite, as we think it's the most private one and has a direct sew view. The room was very comfortable and super clean. Our son stayed in the living room, which was equipped with a sofa bed. There is also a door between the bedroom and living room to ensure privacy. The private pool is small but enough to cool down every day, and the family thoroughly enjoyed using it. Breakfast was varied and delicious. But the real star of the show is the staff. We've stayed in many hotels, and we've rarely experienced the level of service, kindness, and authenticity we experienced at Anema. Special thanks to Christina, George, and Julia for going above and beyond to make our stay amazing! And shout out to Moustache, who's the cutest little dog and became our son's favourite! That we had to leave!

Away from the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia yet within easy reach of both. Peace and relaxation with a stunning view! Super comfy beds with crisp white sheets, very clean accommodation, super friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Car provided in the package which was great. Bespoke personal service provided by the team , big thanks to Christina, George & Julia x A shower outside by the pool would be great, more kitchen utensils and a washing machine would be ideal but it wasn't a problem

Every. Wonderful, Excellent and Professional staff, amazing facility. Excellent location. Spent three nights with our kids to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We are glad we made the decision to spend the time at Anema. No better place!!! I wish we stayed longer. Next time, we plan on staying for weeks and not days.

Exceptional

If i could give 100 stars, I would. The villa was amazing. The staff was impeccable and super friendly, they provided everything we needed and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Plus, Moustache, the cutest little dog, makes everything better as well. Highly recommended! Absolutely nothing to complain about them.

We had a wonderful suite with a pool and sea view, where we felt at home immediately. Perfect for relaxing, while all sights Santorini has to offer and beaches are only a quick drive away. The hotel restaurant offers exquisite food. We were indulged with lovely breakfast. It is luscious, even with freshly squeezed orange juice every day. Dinner is just fantasticly delicious! The team is unbelieveably welcoming, friendly and warm. We will miss Julia, George and Valentino very much -- you are the best!! --

Great size villa with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Our little one was entertained playing outside in the large garden and pool area. The service is great and the whole team make you feel very welcome. I can safely say this is my home away from home in Santorini for many years to come.

It looks exactly as it does in pictures! We stayed in the 3 bed villa. It was perfect. We have two teens with us. Staff were brilliant. Nothing. But this is somewhere to relax. You do need a car/taxi in evenings to go out. But car is included. Which is very handy!

Perfect location for exploring Santorini, The car rental package was an absolute must and so handy to have included in the booking! The area was so peaceful overlooking the sea, our first family holiday and we were so so glad we booked here! The villa with the swimming pool was perfect for us as a family, we really had the best time … Staff were so friendly, polite and helpful … special mention to George who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and relaxed! Beautifully designed place that made you feel like you were in a small village rather than a hotel. Private pools, views of the Aegean Sea, and central to most places on SanTorini. The best part was the staff: friendly, so helpful, and attentive. Made the experience! Some rooms aren’t totally private, as give out to walkway where other people pass. But not a big issue really.
