Clearly the hotel was a bit short-staffed, but it was still a good experience. The main problem is that the hotel has way too few parking spots for the number of rooms.

    Good Breakfast and Bar

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

We arrived just before happy hour, but it wasn't particularly impressive. Since we were looking for a nice place to have dinner, we checked out the hotel restaurant first. Unfortunately, the menu was very limited and the atmosphere wasn't what we were hoping for, so we ended up walking to a nearby restaurant instead. The overnight stay itself was comfortable. The only issue we encountered was that the shower gel hadn't been replenished, which made for an interesting morning shower. Breakfast was decent and certainly edible. I didn't realize there was an omelet station until after I had already eaten—I would have preferred that option had I noticed it sooner. Overall, this is a perfectly acceptable hotel if you're looking for a reasonably priced place to spend the night. It's generally less expensive than many other hotels in Walnut Creek and is conveniently located near public transportation. However, if you're planning a romantic date night or are looking for a more upscale experience, this probably isn't the right choice. In that case, I'd recommend spending a little more and booking one of the nicer hotels in the area.

Rooms were specious and clean. staff was helpful our with questions. Breakfast was fresh. My only issue was the parking space, we had to park next the hotel.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The charge to park your car was significant, unnecessary and a rip-off! I'll find a different hotel with free parking next time. Other than that it is a nice property.

I loved the free snacks and adult drinks each night. The breakfast buffet was pretty good as well, especially the omelette bar!

Daily parking fees is $34 . Which is not mentioned on site. Two bed one room for 4 on web site was wrong. After I booked it shows one bed for four people. I have to call Hotel to change it to 2 bed.

Hotel is beautiful, well maintained. Close to restaurants and stores.

Everyone was soo nice and helpful. They all treated my family, friends, and myself like family and I had the best time there. I hope we return again soon. I recommend everyone to book either way them. The only bad thing was the parking because is small and by 8pm all spaces were taken. There is a parking right next to it but is $25 for the night. Other than that everything else was great.

Nice hotel and great location. Parking can be difficult at times.

Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from each morning. We also appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks, which were a thoughtful touch and added extra value to our stay. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The property was well-kept, quiet, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at this property many times over the years, and this most recent visit was the most disappointing. A lot has changed, and not for the better.Parking IssuesThe hotel no longer offers valet, yet they still charge 34 dollars per night for self parking. Several nights, the entire garage was full, leaving me no choice but to park inthe public garage next door and pay by the hour. I am still waiting on an itemized receipt to confirm I was refunded for the nights I had to park off site. Charging full price for parking when guests cannot actually park on site is unacceptable.Manager’s ReceptionThe evening reception is nothing like it used to be. It is now limited to two drinks per adult, including non alcoholic options. Kids are not given drink cards at all. They can only have the single juice optionput out each night. No sodas, no tea, nothing else included. This used to be a highlight of staying at Embassy Suites, and it is disappointing to see how much it has been scaled back.Food and BeverageThey did have a nice veggie tray with dip, and breakfast was consistent with past stays. The made to order omelettes were great, as always However, one morning the cook loudly berated an employee for accidentally spilling spinach. It happened in front of a line of guests, including my children, who were concerned about how he was being treated. Accidents happen, and no employee deserves to be yelled at publicly.OverallThere are still some positives such as the breakfast quality

Rooms were moderately cleaned I had to switch rooms 3 times because the first one door frame was completely broken second the hot water wasn’t working and the shower wasn’t cleaned there was hair in there the 3rd and final room was ok to y the shower 15 mins to get hot never rejected my requested room housekeeping it was one of the worse stays that I have ever had Steven and one of the girls at the frying were amazing even though they couldn’t fix the problems I will be requesting at lease half of a refund.
