This property used to be a Motel 6, and I have stayed at it when it was Motel 6. It was better maintained when it was Motel 6. The duvet covers had a burn hole in it, the flooring in the bathroom had gaps between the planks, the shower head ring was not attached to the wall, and the tub needed to be cleaned better. And my key had to be reprogrammed twice in three days.

Clean room, helpful staff, pool is like the one at the White House

Everything was good except the shower knob was broken and the shower unusable. I let the office know. I needed to leave before 11 AM, so I spoke with Jay who gave me a credit for my next reservation. Very satisfied with the remedy since it was a Sunday and maintenance would not be available until later.

Efficient service from front desk staff

Budget hotel, sure, but the Walnut Creek CA Super 8 is really a run-down, foul smelling transient dive. Trembling junkies and a pool of vomit on the sidewalk do not make a pleasant stay. I did not stay , but left within the hour with only a nod from the desk clerk. A depressing, disgusting experience under the Wyndham umbrella.

Will never sacrifice my safety for a cheap stay again, and you shouldn’t either!

The location is convenient to downtown Walnut Creek, the freeways and the BART transit station. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was basic but reasonably clean. Beds were comfortable. Maintenance could use more attention - one bathroom light was not working, bathtub/shower drained slowly and toilet was difficult to flush.

Not much worst place I have ever stayed if I hadn’t already booked it in prepaid for it I definitely would have gone somewhere else. I feel that I was ripped off. The property was in disrepair with not clean. Bed was very uncomfortable and had no amenities available. For any coffee refrigerator microwave none of that was available. I feel that I have a sub standard room and the management. There was substandard and treat me with disrespect. I am a handicap veteran, and I feel that I was disrespected.

No microwave in room, occupants have to bring food container to office and they will warm it up for you.

Nothing

Very rude staff who gave me a twin bed when I paid for a king. When I bought this up they told to either deal with it or leave

the room wasn't very clean. There was some illegal activity happening there, no unusual for motels, but one has to be careful, especially as a woman traveling alone with a service animal. cleanliness

Room was clean with but very dated. No bathroom amenities provided. Bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner. No Wifi. Small TV worked fine but had to be manually adjusted as there is no remote control. Bathtub had cigarette burns along edge. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The room was smelling cigarettes probably an old smell ! I used to stay in that place many years before . Never been that bad !!!! Well , this hotel is not expensive but needs a really good update. I will not mind a price going up for a better maintenance.

Tub wasn't draining well, towels and sheets were mediocre
