Only 3.1 mi from the center of Salzburg, Gasthof Rupertigau is located in a quiet area in Wals. Salzburg Airport is a 5-minute drive away. Free private parking is available. The Rupertigau’s bright rooms feature a bathroom and satellite TV. They offer views of the surrounding mountains or Hohensalzburg Fortress. The restaurant has a sun terrace and serves traditional Austrian cuisine with many seasonal specialties. A rich buffet is available each morning in the modern breakfast room. Vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free dishes can be prepared on request in the restaurant. Our restaurant is open from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are our rest days, except breakfast service. Gasthof Rupertigau’s garden features a large children’s playground. An indoor play area is also available. The Salzburg-West exit of the A1 motorway is only a short drive away. The fairgrounds (Salzburg Messe) can be reached in a 15-minute drive. The hotel is mindful of sustainability and has reduced its Co² emissions through thermal renovation, photovoltaic systems and pellet heating. It also offers 2 charging stations for electric vehicles, 10 charging stations for electric bikes, and also electric bike rental.

Friendly staff and big rooms on the 1st floor, good breakfast with many varieties. The rooms on the 2nd floor were not the same quality as the first floor, especially the size of the room and the furniture, despite being labeled the same. The breakfast was good but the quantity of food wasnt that big.

Everything was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The playground was perfect for our kids after a long drive. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was great. It was a great stay for our family.

The hotel is relatively close to Salzburg, which is great—though you do need a car or a bus to get there. The staff were nice, the room was clean, and the breakfast was great. It would have been great if the restaurant was open for dinner on the weekend.

Great staff, very good hotel restaurant, delicious breakfast and of course dog-friendly facility. I didn’t like the guest who hit my car door in the parking lot, the fact that the place in the parking lot is narrow does not mean that you have to smash other cars.

We have been to Salzburg several times and this was our first time staying at this hotel. We will definitely be reserving here from now on! The rooms were incredibly clean and spacious and a wonderful breakfast was offered. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They made our stay incredibly pleasant and made it hard to leave! The distance to Salzburg centre was minimal and there’s also an outlet mall nearby for rainy days. Highly recommend! Nothing!

Nice rural hotel, with good breakfasts. Big and very clean rooms. It quite close to Salzburg if you with car and don't want to stay in the city Haven't seen much stuff, in the evening they are not working, so no one to ask if you have any queries. Plan your check-in and out accordingly.
