Level Rooms

Ease of access to room and cleanliness.

Unfortunately, I cannot say there was anything I particularly liked. I stayed only because my reservation had already been paid for, and after arriving it was not realistic to find another place at such short notice. My stay was extremely disappointing from the very beginning. Before even entering the room, I had to remember four different access codes: one for the courtyard, one for the building entrance, one for the floor, and another for the room itself. If your phone battery dies, you cannot get inside. Arriving alone at night also felt unsafe because the entrance area was very dark. Before my arrival, I informed the property that I have a severe dust allergy and kindly asked for the room to be thoroughly cleaned. I also asked if I could leave my luggage before check-in, and I was told this would be possible. However, when I arrived, nobody answered my messages, the entrance remained locked until exactly 3:00 PM, and I had to wait outside with my luggage. When I finally entered the room, it was dusty, the curtains were dirty and hanging off the rail, and every towel provided was old, torn, and looked unclean. There was no soap in the shower. The bed cover did not appear to be freshly washed, and I even noticed small insects crawling on the bed, which made me genuinely concerned about the hygiene of the room. When I contacted the manager, it took a long time to receive a response. Instead of helping, I was accused of making complaints just to avoid paying, even though my stay had already been fully paid for in advance. I was even told that I could leave if I was unhappy, but as a student attending a university program, finding another place at the last minute was simply not possible. Eventually, I found the housekeeper myself and asked her to clean the windowsill because of my allergy. I then spent my first evening cleaning the rest of the room myself instead of resting after a long journey. I also had to use the dirty towels twice before the manager finally brought two clean towels and refilled the soap dispenser the following morning. The breakfast was also disappointing. On the first day, the food, especially the salad and eggs, seemed old.

They asked for extra money for a late check-out, but since there is a common area, it was fine.. The coffee machine at a certain point wasn't working and seemed like staff didn't know how it worked either. But after some time it was solved, so no major problem.

The rooms were somewhat impractical in terms of layout and storage. There was very limited space around the sink for toiletries, and the shower lacked shelves or holders for soap and shampoo, leaving the floor as the only option. The breakfast was a simple continental offering and remained the same each day, so a bit more variety would have been appreciated.

Everything was wonderful. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and easy to navigate. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole stay felt pleasant and well organized. The breakfasts were tasty, healthy, and filling, but they were served in portions rather than as a buffet. It would have been even better to have a buffet-style breakfast with more choices.

The walls could use a repaint. They are also pretty thin and we were woken up by the guest in the next room yelling on the phone at 3 am.

The room is so nice and clean, you can also drink coffee and tea for free. And the host is very nice.

Location and staff

Check your messages/email BEFORE arriving. Great design, and well executed. The hallway really feels like “levels” of a game. The beds were comfortable, and the facilities were all clean. Location is nice and close to train station and transit. Secure location and asa solo female traveller I felt safe. No freezer - I had to eat my tub of ice cream in one sitting, but there’s worse things in life.

The accommodation is conveniently located near the city center and the Central station. It was very clean and provided all the essentials you might need. The rooms are a bit small, but personally, I wasn't much bothered by it as I stayed in the accommodation just for sleeping during the night.

Convenient location and very good price. We only stayed one night leaving very early. The bathroom is really small and basic

Location is great, the exact city centre! Also self check-in - pretty complicated but works. My room card was not working though, and I had to use pin in order to enter the room. It's not a hotel. Wrong booking description. These "rooms" are actual rooms in a flat in a block of flats. Regardless, my biggest disappointment was the cleaning. My room was clean on the surface, but very dirty when you take a closer look. Please change your cleaning stuff or make them aware that in order to clean you have to use detergents, sheets and some force. On top of that, there was a horrible stench coming out of my sink. All the time. I read some reviews about this, and unfortunately I got the exact room. Thankfully it was one night stand. Breakfast was really poor, made the feeling of being very low quality, especially the toast bread, being the cheapest one out there. Also milk was poured to open glass.

Nice place to stay for a few days, very clean, close to the railway station, all the needed things in the kitchen. Natalia helped us to figure out the issue with codes to enter the room. We'll definitely choose Level Rooms next time:)
