This hotel is not the absolute greatest. BUT it IS affordable and you get a lot for the price. The breakfast was not the best but not the worst and it was super crowded (but they warned us and we went during peak hours anyway). The room was clean and nice. The staff was GREAT. On the weekend we stayed, the hotel was full to the brim. If I worked there, I'd be mean. I don't know how they stay so lovely and patient and helpful. I would stay here again for sure.

The proximity to the metro was excellent. We enjoyed the quality and variety of the daily breakfast buffet. The staff is the shining star of the property, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. We will recommend and come again.

My only recommendations would be to replace the rusting bathroom towel bar/rack in the tub. The underside is all rusted. Plus, leave a small pad and pin in the rooms. Thank you.

Clean rooms. Nice location

They charged 65 dollars a night for parking. But the person that checked us in told 65 the entires time we stayed. Miscommunication and takes forever to get incidentals back and the first night we stayed our air was not working.

There is no dedicated or close parking so prepare for valet ($65). Check-in went smoothly and the valet and front desk staff were great. We got to our room, opened the door, & stepped onto a sticky floor. As we walked into the room we noticed the "queen" beds were actually full, the lamp over the couch didn't work, the one over the bed was falling off the wall, the window shades were falling apart, and the wallpaper was peeling. The bathroom was clean but the "door" was a sliding frosted glass door (think shower door) and there were barely enough linens for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). The bathtub overflow had fallen into the wall and the caulk & wallpaper were peeling. We went down to the pool & it was so small it would've fit inside the room. Breakfast was good, there were a lot of options but it was loud, chaotic, and so crowded we couldn't sit down. Instead of 2 of us eating then taking 2 plates upstairs for our family, we balanced 4 plates, a bowl, and 4 drinks (no trays to carry them) as best we could & ate in the room. The hotel from the last trip was cheaper AND nicer than this one. I regret making this reservation. The place is not near worth the price, run down & felt more like a cheap place to trash with a rowdy party. Spend wisely, go to the Hyatt across town instead.

My entire family liked the breakfast. We enjoyed swimming. All the staff were incredibly helpful and kind! The location was pretty great with restaurants and a grocery store nearby but also only a couple minutes away from the Metro.

Stayed here for a class trip with 8 students. We had a great experience. The staff was especially friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent each morning, and it was only a two block walk to the NoMa Metro station. I will definitely be staying here again.

Let me start by saying the staff is absolutely amazing—every single person, from the front desk team to the housekeeping and maintenance staff, was friendly, helpful, and professional. They truly made our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, the facility itself is showing its age. The rooms are very outdated, and the property is in need of a major renovation. While the exceptional staff deserves five stars, the condition of the building is falling behind and could really benefit from remodeling. I just want to emphasize how wonderful the staff is, but the facility definitely needs some updates.”

I do not recommend this property. Asked to be placed on the quietest side of building since we were there for four nights. After sleeping there the first night we realized our request was not honored. They placed a sleeping machine in the room because of ALL THE PAST COMPLAINTS. The white noise helped me, but my husband couldn't sleep with the machine on (no volume control). We were on the 11th floor and the room was sweltering, though the controls showed the AC was on. The front desk said he'd send someone up right away which ended up 45 min. When I called, the front desk guy said he'd come up to reset it. He knocked, entered the room, did not say hello nor make eye contact, reset it at the vent area and walked out without saying goodbye. Other comments about our room: Large spots on the ceiling in our room that needed to be wiped, worn furniture, Our towels were placed on a rusting rack. In the lobby, they still had Easter spring decor and it's now summer, furniture very worn and heavily spotted. This facility has not attention to detail. So disappointed. Breakfast was decent though. I have photos to back up all of my statements.
