Moxy Washington DC Downtown

Moxy is my favorite hotel brand by far. I like the small, functional (& more affordable) rooms, and the stylish and thoughtfully designed common spaces. Staff at this particular hotel were especially top notch.

The only parking available is valet which is fine but when we got there the kids working valet refused to park our pick up saying it wouldn’t fit in the garage. We said we had never had a problem anywhere before so we asked the height of the garage( we later found out the height of was over 7 ft). We. Asked where we were supposed to park in downtown Washington DC. They said anywhere that there are other locations and streets. They made us drive around Washington to find parking and walk all the way back to our hotel. My husband mind you is disabled and walks with a cane! And they did nothing to try and make it right. His truck is only 6 and a half feet high and would have fit.

The double beds are bunk beds! That was my only complaint. The property was clean and the staff was magnificent! This is a very cute and trendy hotel! They should consider a true double bed option but overall it was a good stay.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly during my short stay. Welcome gift and drink are grea benefits. This location has 2 restaurants, 1 is with a rooftop bar! The views are amazing. This is the place to stay in DC!!

The front desk attendant was very curious and helpful. The place was overall well maintained, open, and available. The only downfall was the cleaning agent did not pay attention to our room, and I had to call for fresh towels once. This however, may have been due to my partner and I still occupying the room when the cleaning agent was working on our floor, so I do not fault them if it was to be courteous to us clients.

Great experience!

The Staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were small but well maintained and very clean. I look forward to returning.

What a fun and cool place to stay. If you go to the rooftop bar and restaurant, find Marlon …what an amazing professional he is.

I loved staying at the Moxy. It was such a cool vibe/environment. I would 100% book again. The rooms are smaller than normal hotels, which they stated that. I loved them tho and the shower was amazing!

Loveee the staff they were so chill and the vibe of the place its very cozy would prefer this better than 5 stars hotel. just wish i had better views rather than facing a wall but the rooftop bar make up for it

Beautiful Artsy Hotel

Generally exactly what you're paying for. Trendy, with a rooftop bar that free drink doesn't apply to. Tiny, concrete room that feels damp. It was fine, it was cheap, rooftop bar food was good- but expensive and except an auto grat of 20% to be added.

I would totally stay here again if my husband and I are traveling by ourselves again as it does not accommodate room for small children (completely fine by me).

Upon entering the building the front desk staff was extremely nice. He was able to help me navigate and answer all the questions I had. The room was a nice size for one person and a modern vibe.

This hotel had the exact vibrant and fun energy we were looking for. The trendy artwork, bold colors, and open layout created the perfect atmosphere to relax and hang out. We walked to near by Gelato shop and restaurants. The National African Museum was just 13mins driving distance and the Diner at Moxy was so good with awesome servers. I will choose a bigger room as the one I chose was just too small for me however, the room was super clean including the floor as I'd walked around in my white socks and they were still clean. Definitely returning.

The hotel is VERY small. If you’re traveling by yourself, it’s okay, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it if you want a lot of space. You can literally hear people through the walls, which was crazy to me. And the bed was not comfortable at all, hard as a rock. 😭

I’d stay again if solo. Loved: the staff from check in to check out. Great cleanliness of room and property, fast service when I requested a blanket, and great price. It’s accurate the room is very small. The suggestions I have: this may not be a room for couples as the bathroom is frosted glass and you can see and hear all, the gym has nice equipment but the bikes are not pelaton as advertised, the universal machine so broke on right right, and one yoga mat that has seen better days.
