Walking distance to all major attractions. Awesome gym to start your day with both enough cardio and free weight machines. Awesome stocked bar in lobby. Security is great! Definitely will be looking for Marriott when planing next trip.

Overall a wonderful experience. The breakfast was marvelous.

STK on-site was awesome. Breakfast buffet at Anthem was average at-best. Was told the bed in room was a king bed. I must have had a major growth spurt as of late (I’m in my 40’s) but that bed was absolutely NOT a king. Staff was very helpful. Venue was super clean.

Beautiful, clean great restaurant

Parking isn’t free, it’s an 85 charge. Then a 35 front desk fee. Even if it’s advertised as free parking on site.

Great Stay Great Location

Such a great location. Staff was exceptional. Bar Isa great place to hang out. On site food and room service is very high quality.

The staff at the bar was a little rude we had to find and chase someone down to take our orders on two occasions.

When I checked in, I asked her front desk a few questions. One question she as about the free breakfast. They said I was not eligible for the free breakfast but online through the Expedia website and advertise that I get free breakfast. I explained that to the front desk. They said they’re not aware of it and the conversation did not go any further. After staying there for three days, I noticed that the room was not cleaned so when I bought it the attention of the front desk she shrugged her shoulders and said they only clean between 2 to 3 days a week. I explained to her that this is my third day here I never was not cleaned. Nobody was ever sent to clean the room after that conversation. Since the room is not clean we ran out of clean towels. I called the front desk when we got back late Thursday night after 11 PM. The front desk she said that she would give me free towels, but they would not send them to the room. I would have to go myself and get them. Finally while leaving on our last day we walked past the valet. The valet were cursing and screaming at each other 10 AM in the morning. As a paying customer, I was not offered the amenities and services that a normal hotel offers. Hopefully the manager can see this and address these issues with his staff.

The location is convenient, however the customer service sucks!

Great place to stay in DC.

This property is not well managed. They did not have any rooms available at 4 pm for hundreds of guests on July 4th who sat around the lobby or left to attend the fireworks. Hundreds of suitcases were piled in the lobby for hours while guests were refused rooms until late at night. They will take your money, but they will not actually deliver the room when you arrive despite telling you it will by ready by 4 pm. This is not worth the money or the extra $35 resort fee that is actually $40. The staff are not honest about the problems and I feel for them - management is cutting corners by not hiring enough staff to clean the rooms that are not empty until 1 pm for Marriott members.

No mention of $35 per day fee. Or, that the on site parking in the listing was valet only and $75 per day. Not per day of stay, but per calendar day. So, a two day stay actually was three $75 days parking. Crazy!
