Novotel Wavre Brussels East Hotel

Staff very kind. Air conditioning insufficient.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The curtains in the room looked like they had not been washed for a very long time, with yellow stains all over them. There were insects everywhere, including spiders, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Even the window was missing its handle, making it difficult to open properly. The receptionist was not welcoming at all and behaved in a very rude and ignorant manner. We were kept waiting for a long time during check-in because he was busy talking on the phone. After finally giving him our passports, he claimed there was no reservation under our name, and we had to prove the booking ourselves through Booking.com. The main reason we chose this property was the swimming pool, but unfortunately we could not use it at all. The water was extremely dirty and had an oily appearance. The outdoor area was also poorly maintained, with overgrown grass and insects everywhere. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and definitely not what we expected.

At arrival I get a baby crib for a 5 year old child. Asking for extra blanket causes drama at the reception. The receptionist speaks poor english so I had to ask other staff help to unfold the sofa bed. The receptionist admitted that he has no clue how to do it. Next day room service removed one blanket by default so had to ask for it again. Most awkward experience ever

Very comfort room, clean, silent. Breakfast is great. Parking is free in front of the hotel.

Clean, free parking. Staff – some of them were excellent, but a couple did not speak good English. One girl looked like she was under the influence of illegal substances (cannabis). Prices – in the restaurant they charge €7.50 for coffee and water, €20 for pasta, and it is not a prime location.

We only ate in the hotel once but we didn't really enjoy our meal. Looked and tasted like a microwave meal, came out 5 minutes after ordering it so that was more than likely correct.

Lovely big modern reception area where you can hang out if you wish. Big bed. Plenty of parking. Coffee and tea making facilities. Great stop over hotel.

Very friendly staff Very busy - understaffed for breakfast and difficult for them to keep buffet replenished. They had a very large group of young professionals in on a Friday/Saturday work conference and they took over every open space in the lobby and in the garden.

Rooms were super clean and spacious and new, breakfast was amazing and tasty, the whole package was beyond expectation

This hotel was a great choice to stay. Short trip from the airport. Pool and facilities were great. They had a garden party which was well organised. WE ate in the hotel twice - food was great. Exellent location for Walabi Aqua Park and Theme Park. Rooms comfortable Staff went out of their way to help with directions. min walk to the centre of Wavre for shops and drinks and resturants / cafes (also supermarket and fast food if you wanted). Pool, football table, swing and interactive pad for the kids. Great bar location We didnt need a car for our stay Short train journey to Brussels Ideally located We are already planning with friends this time to come back next year when the flights are released - see you again soon :) Everything was great

The hotel facilities were good. The location to walk around is not nice with the family.

Check-in was smooth, free parking, there was a place to eat within walking distance, the lodging was close to Walibi park. I did not experience anything that I did not like.
