Hotel Indigo West Chester - Downtown by IHG

The ceiling/floors are very poorly insulated for sound so you hear every step from your neighbors above. It is so loud it almost seems amplified in the wall space. It's a shame because the hotel is otherwise nice. But this sound issue is so bad it is almost a joke. Completely unacceptable.

This review is about booking.com Booking.com customer service forced me to use booking.com to rebook another hotel reservation after the initial hotel canceled my reservation the same day I was suppose to check in. Booking.com customer service told me to rebook the recommended hotel booking.com send to me, and they will refund the money of the difference between the reservation that was canceled and the new reservation, and also refund my initial reservation amount I paid. They told me to call them after I check out of the hotel. When I checked out on Friday, I called booking.com customer service to made them aware that I checked out of the hotel. The lady I spoke to, told me they will refund the money to my wallet as credit for future use. I told the lady that that was not what I was told when I rebook the day the hotel canceled my reservation. Booking.com customer service told me that they will refund to my credit card the difference between the hotel. They never told me that they will refund it to my booking.com wallet. I also told the customer service that I have a receipt of what I was told when I spoke them. They hung up the call twice without ending the conversation. If I had known I would have never use booking.com to do another reservation. They are scammers and liers. They only care about money, not their customers. I will never use booking.com again. This review is about the hotel. For the price per night, the hotel should provide free breakfast, microwave in the rooms and free car parking.

Overall amazing experience would stay here again. The customer service is top notch hotel was clean nothing but positive reviews. Kudos to this team and hotel.

Great location. Nice vibe! How can a room be handicapped accessible and have a step over tub? All of the rooms should have a roll-in shower!!!!

Clean, great location. “Breakfast included” is not included. My spouse and I stayed for 2 nights, we each received a $20 voucher to the cafe, which should cover 2 breakfasts. They had a deal for a regular coffee and breakfast sandwich for $10; any other coffee drink (latte, americano, etc) and a sandwich exceeded $10, and thus the $20 wouldn’t cover 2 meals. Also this is like a coffee shop - sandwiches, and fruit cups or parfaits (which were all sold out at 9am on a Monday morning) are all that are offered. Otherwise it’s pre-packaged bars and snacks. It should be clearer that it’s not a full breakfast menu if you choose that option at booking, and just the voucher.

We had a wonderful stay! The front desk people are warm and friendly, the hotel is gorgeous and well located. We walked to everything! We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is less than 2 years old and is located in a very convenient location that is with walking distance to many restaurants. The food in the restaurant was delicious and there is even a speakeasy in the basement!
