Hotel was in a brilliant location. Few steps to the station and a very short walk to the beach. Hotel was clean and staff friendly but the stairs are a hassle if you have anything more than hand luggage or are disabled. Breakfast was superb. The stairs. We were on the top floor with a heavy suitcase.

We have stayed before at the Clifton and would definitely stay again. Very clean and great location to the railway station, the beach and bars and restaurants . The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a very good choice at breakfast and the full English was delicious. It's great having the pub next door and would have a drink before going out and a nightcap before going to our room at the end of the night. Would 100% recommend the Clifton Hotel My pillow was hard and lumpy but my husband said his was fine so it's personal preference

Right next to the Railway station, friendly staff, early check-in. It’s not really a Hotel, just rooms above a rather rough pub. The whole place is very down at heel.

Location on sea front good. Ok breakfast, not the best quality. Old dated rooms, too hot in the summer weather. Parking only includes certain hours.

Very good Breakfast good size well decorated room with excellent shower. The adjoining Public House was a little tired and needed updating.
