Good for a weekend stay

For the price you get exactly what you need. If you're looking for a 5 star resort to spend time in your room this is not the place, I don't go to the beach to spend time in a room I go there to spend time outdoors. Like all places in real estate location location location it was perfect. I plan on returning next year.

Staff was attentive and would assist if anything was needed. Rooms were clean. Easy walk to beach and pier

Staying there was like staying in prison - it was dirty and gross nothing worked - issues with tv - the people next door were drunk and obnoxious we left early go somewhere rlse

It was a good location to the beach and boardwalk The bed sheets felt like they were covered in sand. The lock on the door was not working and I notified the office, they came and removed the metal piece off the frame instead of fixing it. The shower head was very low in the shower.

I contacted Expedia immediately requesting a full refund and they said it is up to Bird of Paradise's discretion. After explaining that this is a safety issue with a ground floor room unlocked with no one on the property for hours Expedia offered no other help. After speaking with four different agents over the course of text and phone calls for three and a half hours it is now a full week later and I still have not received a refund. I was left with no where to go at 2 am because both Birds of Paradise and Expedia do not care about the safety of their customers in the slightest and will do nothing to help when something is disturbingly wrong. Don't waste your time, effort, or money on this motel or with Expedia's lack of tact and suffer the way I have. I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy, just everyone who was no help.

Really close to the beach and boardwalk The pool and how it had a little kid area

Nothing but the location. Where should I start? It was dilapidated and the room smelled like cat piss. I honestly was awake for three straight days because I was choking on the dust and it felt like I was sleeping in Times Square with the outside light illuminating our room. The pillows were yellow (they were once white) and the bed sheets were disgusting. I should have brought my hazmat suit for the bathroom. It was bad.

Place was very clean and just.pleasant to stay at.

Proximity to beach The pool was cloudy and dirty, full of sand. The sheets were dirty with sand. The property overall was in need of repairs.
