Sunshine Motel

This spot continues to be consistent. It may not pass your favorite internet influencers test but if you live in the real world it provides everything you need to have a great getaway. The young man at the front desk is a great first impression and deserves to be mentioned.

Location to resturants, beach, and boardwalk. Room was so disgusting. There was mold everywhere. It was almost like it was never cleaned. We had to put a towel in the shower just so we didn't have to actually stand in the tub, but we even wore shower shoes with the towel down. We left our beach chairs outside of our door and our sandals and my MIL had hers stolen. There was a table with 2 metal folding chairs, but couldn't even use it because it was shoved in the corner and blocked by the bed. I have attached pictures to show the condition of the room. We asked them to come in and clean the shower. The pictures of the tub was even after they "cleaned" it. We couldn't even walk without shoes because the floor was filthy. Despite complaints to the manager nothing was done. The owner had a lot on her plate with the maids, but still no excuse.

I liked the manager. He was willing to accommodate me and my needs the best he could. I didn’t care for the location. It was on a corner street and they didn’t have a very big parking lot.

Great location, helpful and kind staff. Doors were a bit hard to open and close and the restroom door didnt like to shut all the way.

Great pool, everyone slept comfortably, the staff was wonderful to all of us.

It was close to the boardwalk and some places to eat. The pool was always clean too. They do not provide shampoo. You get one towel and washcloth a piece to start. The air-conditioning was cool but only on the floor if you stood up, you’d have to turn the ceiling fan on cause it was hot.

Close to boardwalk Room iv very poor condition. Broken tiles in bath. Really shitty spackle on walls trim so dirty n needed paint at minimum
