Surf Comber Motel

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff and the amenities were amazing as well as the location. The only Issue my wife and i had this this motel was that there was mold on the lamps handles and lampshades as well as the floor behind the night stand. Also the hot water seemed to not have been working during our stay so we had to take cold showers even after leaving the shower running for 10 minutes to let the water heat up.

Bathroom is very small. We had what was described as a kitchenette. It was a stove and small fridge. Be sure to bring your own coffee. There’s a coffee maker but that’s about it. Did I mention that the room was small - especially for more than 2 people. Staff are nice and parking was convenient.

Location is nice as it's close to the boardwalk. Keep in mind the room is very small for a family of 4. Towels are not clean and towels are not clean as we have found hair on them. Cleaning person often does not supply proper quantities. Had to request to have soap and other items. Would not recommand this motel if cleanliness is a necessity.

Nous devions quitter le motel vers 8 h, mais avons devancé notre départ à 3 h30 du matin. Des jeunes adultes se sont installés devant notre chambre pour faire la fête et parler très fort, ce qui a empêché toute la famille de dormir. Le fait qu'aucun membre du personnel ne soit présent en soirée et pendant la nuit fait en sorte que nous trouvons l'endroit peu sécuritaire pour des familles.

This motel was adorable with its retro vibe and a 2 block walk to the beach and boardwalk. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. My only complaint which is of no fault of the motel itself were the people in the next room over. They were outside past 10pm drinking and blasting music from their vehicle. I’m unsure if there was anything said to them by motel staff but this went on well past 11pm making it difficult for my kids and myself to sleep. I do feel a set time being implemented for guests or a “quiet time” would be beneficial.

Does the trick and great location.

The location is excellent—only a 5-minute walk to the beach and the boardwalk. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and they’re good for a few days with the family. The housekeeping could be improved. During our 4-day stay, they only replaced the garbage bag and refilled the shampoo. The toilet and shower were never cleaned. I booked a double room with a kitchenette. It was small, but perfect for a short stay. It had one mini fridge and a small refrigerator/freezer. There is also a BBQ available for all guests to use. Overall, it’s an excellent place for a few days with the family. I would definitely come back again next year.

The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. The pool was also clean. The motel was not far from the boardwalk , beach or restaurants.

Motel was within walking distance to the boardwalk and beach, many great restaurants, and shops. There is a pool as well. Room and bathroom were small, but for the rate we couldn’t beat the location!

Very tiny bathroom. It was for the most part clean...except the shower which had hair in the shower pan and was extremely slippery that I almost fell. I took a wet washcloth and scrubbed the bottom and it made a significant difference.

The only positive aspects of our stay were the receptionist, who was friendly and helpful, and the fact that we were allowed to use the pool a little past the posted 8:00 PM closing time, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and condition of the rooms outweighed the few positives, and I would not stay here again.

stove was very old did not use it parking was not easy to get in the space golf cart was parked directly in front of our room so it was difficult to get the correct angle to get in the space plus the car in the space beside ours was over the white line took alot of maneuvering to get parked in the morning another golf cart parked directly behind pur truck so we were completely blocked in had to wait for the office to open to see if the manger knew who had the golf carts and could move them so we could leave the motel to go site seeing late start for MON no coffee filters or coffee packs in the room although we had a coffee maker had to wait for office to open to get coffee at 10 am from the Keurig machine in office I want coffee when I wake up at 7:30 AM towels and washcloths were very thin bar of soap was very small manager was very helpful getting the golf carts moved "kitchenet" was not what I thought it was going to be we did not spend alot of time at the motel we had family staying at a house in North Wildwood which is where we were most of the time
