Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center

Great hotel! Clean and right in the heart of everything! And the staff is wonderful! We always stay here when in Wilmington and will continue.

Great area to stay at

The first room assigned had a bed that was not made. Our key stopped working and it took several hours to remedy. The pool had numerous dead bugs in it. Bathroom vent was not working.

The location was amazing, beds were super comfy and staff very nice. The pool was kinda dirty with grass clippings and debris in pool that you had to keep pushing away and a bag of trash sat outside exterior side door for a couple days but otherwise it was good. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance and beach less than 10 min away.

Hotel furniture seat was thread bare

Broken tile in the elevator. Broken tile in the foyer and bathroom floor in our room!!! Front representative did not seem to care. It was very confusing whether any food was included in our package price or not. We will never stay here again.

Pretty disappointed for the cost of the stay. Never had a bad Hilton experience but this was pretty rough. Dirty floors, no soap in the room when we arrived, beds were fine, table tops were clean.. just pretty underwhelming for what they advertised and pictures posted.. the 8.4 rating is a stretch.

The room was clean, bed not very comfortable. Also, I had to keep requesting for service and towels as it seemed they would forget or overlook the request. Once I was able to receive fresh towels,

The toilet had a slow leak at the flapper valve and kept running all night long. I had called the front desk and they came immediately but it didn’t work. The air conditioner was noisy.

The location was in the middle of everything bout the only good thing about it Room was dirty smelt nasty in the hall ways the price was way to much for 2 nights for how lousy the room was the room had hair in the shower when we got there the bed was barley made didn’t even want to sleep on it and it was just a bad stay in general do not recommend

Staff was friendly

We did a quick weekend getaway to Wrightsville Beach for my girlfriends birthday. The guest services rep was nice and inviting but the The hotel room was a nightmare. AC never cooled down. We arrived later in the night so we did not want to interrupt or start an issue that late so we stayed in the room. We thought the AC would function the next day, but it did not and the temp only rose more. We ended up having to call guest services, maintenance came right away and verified the air was not working so we were moved to another room. Mind you the room also had some sort of small black bugs crawling from the table with the tv on it. We moved to the next room and that AC was on 78 so it took awhile to cool also. The toilet barely flushed and the shower pressure was exceptionally low. During checkout we told the manager about the problems we faced but was only offered Hilton Hotel points for our troubles. Why not a refund of a nights stay or some of compensation?? We will not be staying again.

The bed was amazing. Issue was with housekeeping. We were not told that we had to request it at check in, so we went entire day with a dirty room. When we brought it manageme T’s attention, they did respond immediately.
