Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wilmington West - Medical Park by IHG

The service, the place, the room, the breakfast everything was excellent. The bad thing is that we stayed 3 days and they never came to clean the room. They only change your towels. I paid for 6 people and they only gave us 3 towels if we wanted more we had to use them and take the 3 dirty ones so that they give us 3 more for the other 3 people. In addition, in the app it told me that they were going to charge me money and at the hotel they charged me $50 more

We got to the hotel and they didnt have a room after we booked two months in advance. The hotel staff were very much helpful with trying to accommodate us. They offered us the only room available which had a leaky ac wall unit. Which at the moment was ok due to the fact we had an event to attend. They called the maintenance guy who attempted to fix it. When we returned back to the room after our event the room smelled terrible. It smelled like mold or mildew to the point my friend began throwing up. So we gathered our things and left.

The room was clean the beds are very comfortable. Brianna was fantastic, other than that everyone else that worked there was awful and mean. We had to turn the water off for the toilet not to flood the bathroom and manually flush after using the bathroom, they would not discount that inconvenience. I will never go back

Breakfast the 1st morning we must have hit it at a very busy time, we had to wait awhile for eggs and sausage. But food was hit and good.

We only stayed 1 night but we were very impressed. The room was spotless. The bathroom was a little run down but was nice otherwise. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very nice and efficient. I will definitely stay here again.

Clean room helpful staff

The property was clean, and the staff was professional, would recommend if in the Wilmington area.

When we checked in at 5pm, there was a line of people waiting for their rooms to be ready. We got to our room and later that evening realized we had no shower curtain. When one was requested, we were told they couldn’t find one. When more towels were requested, we were told there were none available.

Sharron was amazing. Although there were many patrons waiting to be assisted she took care of in the order we arrived. She made sure to give us individual attention, not rushing however being efficient, professional and polite

The start was very nice. However, the room was not very clean. There was hair in the bath tub, a dead bug in the bathroom and crumbs on the counter under the tv.

I had a one night stay for work, and I would definitely stay here again. My first impression was how great the front desk staff were and as well how so very clean and just a perfect spot to stay. Room was excellent t with super comfortable bed and great amenities. Excellent experience!

Cleanliness Vibe wasn’t great. Inside decor wasn’t great.

I was having a rough morning, flight cancelled and I needed a place to stay at 8 am. I tried 3 other hotels, all turned me away. This hotel told me they could get me something but I had to wait, so I sat and waiting for about an hour, then the hero at the front desk(she knows who she is) says " hunny I can't see you waiting like this i know you're tired, were gonna do something for you" she gave me a free water, delicious cookies, and found me a room. Massive thank you to her, the cookie maker, and the owner.

It's a nice hotel and it was clean. Breakfast was good and staff was nice.

Quiet and spacious rooms. Can be busy with the medical center nearby. They couldn't give me a receipt because I made the reservation via orbitz. Never had that happen at other hotels
