Great location. Breakfast was good Room lighting was wierd.

Lovely tranquil place within walking distance to town, with included parking and light breakfast. Staff are very helpful. We'll be back!

Interesting check in. My name was on a bulletin board with directions to the room and a key in the door. No TV in the room, but that was actually kind of nice good breakfast, and the breakfast staff was friendly. Room was nice and clean and large. Check out was lock the door and leave the key in the lock.

Beautiful house and beautiful room, loved my stay

It would be $100 less per night if not located in Woodstock. Railing to second floor wobbled and staircase runner not tacked down; small room with 3 tiny tables and table lights, no light in walk-in closet, no place to open luggage. Bathroom across hall with tube/shower without safety hand rail or non-skid bath mat.

Excellent location in the heart town. Clean, comfortable and very spacious rooms.

- The property was in a great location - The bed was comfortable - The property has a cool vibe - There wasn’t a hairdryer - The window air conditioner was in the bathroom. The air conditioner was plugged into a power strip positioned under the sink area, which seemed dangerous. - No TV - Breakfast hours are limited to 8 am to 9 am - Instructions for checking weren’t clear. Thankfully other guests helped up to locate a cork board with check on information. - There was very limited table or storage space in the room - It was difficult to close the room blinds

Good stay.

Breakfast was excellent but only having it available for 1 hr was unusual. Most places it's 2 hrs. Places a time constraint on the morning. The owners were not there. Another guest had to tell me to read the bulletin board to get my room Info. Worst, website stated room had a private bath but not that it was across the hall! Had to get dressed to use it.

Smoke Detector sounded in the middle of the night which was very disruptive to some. Evidently, no one answered the Emergency Phone line and people had to resolve the problem themselves. Difficult to contact the staff as no one seems to answer the phone. As hard-working health providers, we came to The Vespers to rest and that rest was disrupted on our first night. Answer the phones

Good location; the room and breakfast were subpar.

Location was good The AC was in the bathroom, the pillows were very thin, basically no staff, hard to drag 2 large suitcases up the steep stairs, breakfast was just ok

First the location was excellent, within walking distance of everything. The bed was also very comfortable. Coffee was decent. I did not realize when I booked that I had the only room WITHOUT a private bath (the Monk). I had to go across the hall and I thought someone might be using my bathroom but when I mentioned it to the manager I was told "No, that couldn't happen." Shortly after I headed across the hall and found someone blow drying their hair! She said there was no blow dryer in her room. The door to that bathroom should be left closed otherwise people look at it as public. Also a sign could be put on the door that says PRIVATE. Also as has been mentioned the walls are thin which is fine if people are considerate. No good reading lights in the room, tiny little ones bedside only. No waste basket in the room.

A comfortable room with access to a refrigerator and iron for clothes. Quiet area though right in town which was convenient. Lovely breakfast with plenty of places to sit and chat with other guests. Easy check in if a bit confusing with notice on a board outside. The key to our room did not work well. Older door and the key just got stuck, We were only there one night so we were not super concerned. The place felt very safe.
