Location was great and easy walking distance to the main street in Woodstock. The staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the game room and the overall grounds of the property. Very charming decor throughout. It's a beautiful property but waaaayy overpriced for what you get. Maybe we didn't take advantage of all the amenities but it certainly wasn't worth the $800/night rate. Not sure I would stay there again given the price.

Quaint New England charm with beautifully maintained grounds. We enjoyed both the spa and the Red Rooster restaurant which were both wonderful. There was a wedding onsite one night while we were there and while beautiful, made it difficult to enjoy the outside fire and smores that evening as it was very loud. It was remarkable that you could not however hear the noise from inside the Inn. Overall I would highly recommend the Woodstock Inn resort & spa to couples, families and friend trips.

No one is aloud to make a decision without the supervisor..a ok place iif you like to stay in a basement apartment THAT SMELLS for 500 dollars a night..myopinion YOU CAN DO BETTER.. I APPOLIGIZE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW, BUT BEWARE..

Beautiful interior and exterior, the reception areas are cosy especially the library, delightful New England charm. The pool area is lovely too. Service is great and the staff are very friendly on the whole. I was very disappointed there was a wedding booked there when we stayed and would have appreciated being informed as I would not have chosen to stay here and would have changed my booking. The guests took over the pool on the day of their and our arrival which made us feel uncomfortable. Fortunately we did have an hour for other guests later where it was obvious everyone else felt relieved like us. I was told they would not be noisy but we were woken on the hour all through the night on the day of the wedding by shouting outside our room, it was unbearable . And the other issue I had was the food. The breakfast was very good but it should be, it was expensive. But the meals in the Red Rooster were not good at all. Very expensive, very little choice and not prepared well. Chicken was not cooked in parts and was just like a bad chicken nugget which was dry and served with a boring lettuce cob and a quails egg, and the risotto was tasteless and runny. This is not Michelin ir anywhere close!!! There was no difference to what was on offer in the tavern. Over ambitious and over priced. They should offer more reasonable choices and simpler menus that they can deliver well. This was a huge failure. It was awful I’m afraid.

The location and the feelings: it seems like going back in time. The gym is 20 min walking from the property in a different place.

We had one of the most enjoyable weekends away we have had in a long time. What a stunning Inn in a gorgeous town….Wow! Our experience was made even more special by the wonderfully friendly & accommodating staff….we had a few great laughs with the bar staff, it was so fun. The afternoon tea & home made cookies from your bakery was another highlight. We ate in Both of your Resturants & they were equally as good as each other….Fantastic. With wonderfully comfy beds in a gorgeously appointed room, we will definitely be back. 12/10 rating. Thanks for having us. Nothing at all.

Great location for walking to restaurants, hiking, and biking. The room was not serviced every day.
