Drinks were excellent this year! But please bring back the big pretzel. It’s too hot to eat a big meal for lunch and pretzels are just perfect.

Biggest issue was trying to figure out what the charges are. They charged the cc before and it was supposed to be pay on arrival. The charged upon arrival $75 for incidentals and maybe something else because the amount on my cc was maybe $175 more and they said at the desk we had $25 a day credit for use at the hotel, so we didn’t use it not sure if it was a gimmick. I asked at the desk after check out if the amount on the account screen was correct and she said yes and I would get an email receipt, which I haven’t seen. Very confusing. The valet said that they charge for everything. There said they provided beach chairs and umbrellas, yet they charged $50 a day.

This is a unique property with access to the ocean and the sound. We enjoyed the different boating opportunities: sunset cruise on a pontoon, sailing charter, and sea kayaking rentals.

We had breakfast one morning and lunch one day at the pool. Had dinner two different days at the restaurant. The dinners were amazing!! The shrimp and kale appetizers were amazing. Definitely enjoyed that. Breakfast was good . Lunch was good. Very happy and satisfied with e! More coffee in the rooms. My husband and I drink 2 cups each in the morning. So having 4 filters everyday would have been nice. Other than that there isn’t anything. We had a great time and great drinks and great food

My stay at Trailborn Surf & Sound was overall very enjoyable. The room was comfortable, and the view of the ocean was truly exceptional—one of the highlights of the trip. The atmosphere by the pool was relaxing, and the drinks were excellent, adding to the overall experience.However, I did notice that the bathroom upkeep fell short of the standard I expected. The showerheads and the bathroom vent were noticeably dirty, and there appeared to be some type of buildup or growth on the bathroom’s sliding door. These issues made the bathroom feel unpleasant despite the otherwise great stay.With improved attention to bathroom maintenance, this property has the potential to offer an outstanding experience from start to finish.

Great vacation! The hotel was comfortable and the staff was accommodating. Beach access was perfect! I plan on returning!!

Great! Outdoor seating with a gorgeous landscape.Views of the Ocean where magnificent The balcony view of the ocean was the best! Loved the beach chairs and Umbrella. Pool was a big hit for us. It's beautiful and quaint. Southern Charm. We had one bedside wall lamp.with queen bed. Small lamp on buffet didn't work. Light over the table could have been brighter. We let the staff know right away. They couldn't fix anything while we were there. We let it ride. Couldn't find anyone to report to. Or they looked at us with a stare in a square. Duh! The fixtures are quite worn from use. The bathroom exhaust fan is not working (it is out of order), and the emergency stairwells are dirty and look unkempt.

Figure out how to get a passing grade on the restaurant sanitation score. Fix the elevators, or, at least Repair and paint the stairwells. Stop trying to sell the beach clamshell shades, useless.

Terrible parking lot. Very tight and not enough spaces.

Like the convenience to access the beach. Did not care for valet parking. Needs to increase frequency of cleaning, saw debris on the hallway carpet that lasted about a day, The towel collection bins were overflowing. Garbage bins overflowing. Pool bathrooms can use more frequent cleaning. Lack of sufficient number of water filling station and ice, should be in very floor. The bathroom sliding door was broken. The AC unit is extremely loud. The partition in the shower is two small lots of water spill outside the shower.

There is no microwave in the room or in the hotel, not convenient. The view from the room is good. Some snacks are expired. The dimmable lighting works well.

A really friendly and helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trailborn!

What a fantastic time from Valley service to all the staff everything was wonderful. The restaurant outdoor bar were had
