Super 8 by Wyndham Wytheville

Front desk assistant was awesome! She was friendly and pleasant! The bed was clean and crisp. Room was dated but good for a nights stay. Easy on and off 77. The bathroom sink was not clean or coffee pot/cups even in plastic. We found hair…a lot on both and dirt. Again…good for a quick trip in and out. Best AC ever!

The staff was super nice. We ended up staying an extra day because we were traveling and they were very accommodating. We had some issues with the TV and the maintenance man came very quickly to rectify the issue. Will definitely stay there again when we travel back-and-forth to visit our family up north.

The staff was extremely nice, very helpful and very professional, great place to stay at affordable price, the facility was clean the room nice and clean except for the bathroom.

Booked on Expedia. When we arrived we checked in and our room door was ajar and the bed was a mess. Went back to the receptionist who informed me they had nothing else to offer other than a smoking king (I have two kids and my husband with me so that would not work) the receptionist informed me i had to work with Expedia to get the refund. Expedia emailed me days later that after multiple attempts they were unable to contact the property. I find that hard to believe because they have answered when I call. Someone needs to get me my refund because my family had to drive another 100 miles in the middle of the night to find a hotel because someone didn’t clean a room.

Quiet and clean, helpful staff and breakfast provided.

Good value for the money. Only complaint was that the air-conditioning didn't put out very cold air.

Reviews were generally good so that was why we chose to stay. We didn't feel it was as good as advertised. It was an older property with a fabulous view of the mountains from our room. It didn't look very clean and they put laminate flooring in which when you got out of the shower you didn't want to walk on the floor. See above for both.

Bed was not that comfortable , the air conditioning unit was very noisy and kept us awake most of the night.

Nice motel with clean rooms and decent prices.

Ended up leaving and going to another hotel because it was so bad.

Good place for a quick stay if driving through town. Dirty towels and uncomfortable bed, key cards were a headache, but fine once you got settled

The room was not clean when we checked it. It had dog hair all over the floor. Dust could be found on the fixtures. The bedding had cigarette burns on it.

WARNING: strongly recommend do not stay here. We made a reservation through Expedia. Got to the hotel and the desk person Lorie said my ID did not match. She said their policy is it has to match exactly (every letter, name, etc). Long story short she would not accept it and reiterated their policy. I had no issue with the policy but wanted to point out they did actually match. This was upsetting to her, she said I would not be staying there, and told me to leave. I said I needed to cancel and get a refund on a prepaid reservation. She said not helping me at all and walked off. My husband came in to de-escalate and she was disrespectful and rude to him too, but finally agreed to cancel and refund, when contacted by Expedia. Contacted Expedia and Josephine was very helpful and contacted the hotel. Josephine said Lorie was very rude. Fortunately we cancelled and got a full refund and stayed at a nicer place down the road. I would not stay here and would not recommend at all.
