Novotel Xi'an The Bell Tower

What a wonderful hotel experience! The rooms are so well-designed, featuring great modern upgrades like multiple outlets and a separate bath/wash layout that made getting ready a breeze. Having water bottles easily accessible in the hallway and a free-to-use guest laundry felt incredibly thoughtful and unique. I also really appreciated how they set up the first floor as a transition zone. It’s a smart way to manage the peak hour rush, while giving everyone a comfortable, welcoming spot to gather before heading out for the day. A perfect, hassle-free setup! My clothes got taken out of a dryer due to a late pickup.

The Xian Novotel Bell Tower is newer than the other hotels we have stayed at over our trip, with a prime central location, just steps from the Bell Tower and a short walk to the lively Muslim Quarter. Tucked off the main road, it offers a peaceful and quiet stay despite being in the heart of the city. Room was a good size and well laid out. We appreciated the excellent laundry facilities and comfortable downstairs bar and lounge—great for relaxing while doing your washing. With a Metro station nearby, getting around Xian is easy and convenient. Being in a central location, tours will pick up and drop off at the hotel.

Well located

The location was great with many food choices in the vicinity. We had a comfortable stay. Nothing.

- Perfect hotel location, just minutes walk away from Bell Tower, eateries, malls, souvenir shops, and the subway. - Spacious, new room with comfortable King sized bed, comfortable pillows - Room seating + small dining table was convenient for resting - Free bottled water for guests to take, conveniently located in front of the lifts on every level - Automatic toilet + bidet with night light! Separate toilet and shower room. - Daily housekeeping and replenishing of items - Good breakfast spread - One of our rooms was very far from the lift, and dragging luggage on carpeted floor was very tedious. Be sure to request for a room near the lift. - Our rooms had no view of the outside, but looked diagonally into another hotel room. It was fine as we got sunlight in but there was just no view - Taxi pick up and drop off is a short walk away from the hotel lobby entrance, but this seemed to be the case in other parts of China as well - Had a bit of problem during check-in - receptionist did not see our booking had 'breakfast included', and also quoted us the wrong price to pay by card. It was a human error, but be sure to double check everything with them before payment. Language barrier was also tricky to navigate as they did not really speak English and a translator was required.

We really liked the location and it was within easy walking distance to restaurants and local sight seeing areas. We got a suite and really liked the room set up which was modern and clean. The guest laundry and gym were basic but very convenient. The pillows were a little uncomfortable and despite, plenty of "no smoking" signs everywhere, our room and corridors smelled like smoke.

Am very happy with my stay in Novotel Bell Tower. Excellent location. Room is very clean, comfortable and spacious. Nice touch of complimentary afternoon tea with light snacks. Front desk reception staff are helpful. A special call out for the lady staff (刘巍) who manages the tour desk. She is extremely helpful and went beyond her call of duty very early one morning to help me sort out an issue on the museum tickets. I will definitely stay here again. Nothing

Quiet despite it is in the city centre. Locality and proximity to the subway station. Clean and comfortable. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

I like the free high tea offered by the hotel. Very thoughtful to offer small bite and red dates tea for the guests. The staff is extremely helpful with my query. The hotel should not shut the aircon off during winter. The room is very stuffy without the aircon.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and inviting, with a warm atmosphere that made me feel at home. The location was unbeatable, close to everything I needed.
