It was amazing, lively, in the best location, room was minimalistic (to my taste) but had everything we needed. Very much an ikea minimalistic showroom feel. The staff was friendly too. Love the added touches in the common area like the hexagon pool table and the fruit ninja on the wall. The two washing machines both had issues - one was veryyyy smelly probably because the door was kept closed after cycles for too long so the moisture and warmth caused bacteria to grow. The other washer was leaking. There was a little Karaoke machine in the common area that kept getting stuck and not working too. These were all minor issues with additional amenities though so the overall experience was still great.

The air con in the room doesn’t seem to work in this hot weather. The temperature remains at around 29 degrees in the room when we have already lowered the air con temperature to around 10 degrees celcius. Hence we didn’t have a good sleep during our stay. Apart from this, the rest including the staff, facilities and location is ideal and value for money.

Location was right above the line 2 subway line, which is where many of the attractions are. There were many bus options so well accessible by public transport. Plenty of food and shopping options around. Room facilities and heating were fantastic. There is a complimentary afternoon tea at 2-4pm everyday. Take note to request for a room not near the opera stage if you are affected by the noise during the day. We had a good chance viewing the performance from our room so it was a good perk for us. None

Good location as it’s near the bell tower and train station. It’s also near a shopping mall with good eateries. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All questions answered. They will go the extra mile to make your experience and stay a good one. Nothing.

We loved the nice, modern and spacious rooms. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The biggest disappointment of our stay was when we returned to the hotel on the second night and found ourselves locked out of our room. So we had to go down to the reception area, where we were told that we would only be able to access our room after settling a deposit. This was an extremely frustrating experience, especially since we would be checking out just a few hours later. It was clear that the staff member who checked us in had forgotten to ask for a deposit, which led to an uncomfortable situation in the middle of the night. For us and for the (friendly) staff member on duty. To add to the confusion, we later learned that the hotel had also contacted our parents, who were staying in another room, to demand a deposit, despite the fact that I was the one handling the entire reservation. This lack of communication left us feeling uneasy as we prepared to leave. While we have enjoyed our stays at the Moxy chain in the past, this stay highlighted several areas for improvement. The hotel has great potential, but better management of these areas would enhance the whole experience.

Property is very new, so facilities are all very modern. Sufficient outlets by the bed to charge and use phone as you sleep. Gym on 1st floor had comprehensive equipment, with towels, water cooler and a shower. The location is very central, within 30min walk to the Muslim Quarter. Staff were helpful with enquiries on nearby telco service centres and requests for recommendations on local cuisine and food delivery, though we communicated in Mandarin Chinese. The hotel is next to a cultural centre that regularly holds traditional Chinese opera performances for the local elderly community at 10am-11am, and the full length glass windows do not do a good job of blocking out the shrill sound of the suona. Not an issue if you’re out of the room by then but might be a point of consideration if you’re looking to sleep in. Also the didi drivers always can’t locate the hotel so you’ll have to walk 2min to the main road.
