Fantastic location, comfy bed and nicely furnished room

Location was excellent! We checked in and found ants in room. Staff moved us to another room.

Great location right across from the beach. Good places to eat just steps away.

This place is ideally located directly across the street from the beautiful beach. Only a short walk to a small "main street" type shopping area and several restaurants. A relatively short drive to the Bluff Point Lookout - where sunset was amazing. When we checked-in we received such a warm wlecome. We were directed to restaurants nearby, asked about our needs. We had hoped to make our own breakfast in the morning but the room didn't have a cook top - the lady at reception asked if we needed an electric fry pan. We said "yes" - it was huge and we were able to make a nice breakfast with it along with the toaster and kettle before heading out in the morning. Also, at check-in we were traveling with a cooler but the refrigerator was too small to keep our ice frozen - they offered to keep our ice in their freezer until we checked-out. Such lovely people. The room was comfortable, a little dated but the staff and cleanliness made up for that. There is a laudry room with large washers and dryers - and they charged only $5 AUD per load (a total of $10 for both the washer and dryer.) We didn't use the pool but it was private and looked inviting. Also, this motel reminded us of family owned motels we used to stay at back when we were younger traveling across the US (a long time ago so it was nostalgic for us.) You backed right up to your room, unloaded what you needed and easily and quickly re-loaded the car in the morning. It makes me smile to think of our stay . . . I'd stay here again. It would have been nice to have had a little larger refrigerator and a cook top but the staff helped us make it work nicely.

Didn't get to stay longer

Nothing We were given room 1 which was right on the front street. It was so noisy with traffic and people walking by. The only time it was quiet was between 3:00 and 6:00 am. However then we could hear the person next door snoring! We had to keep all the blinds closed to have any privacy. Just ridiculous!

Location was fabulous. Staff were extremely helpful and the pool was a real gem. We didn't need to drive anywhere as everything was extremely close. The bed was very comfy and we were able to wash and dry our clothes on the premises. Only issue was a bit of early night noise as we were room 1 right on the road but we also had a best view.

Location - waking distance to restaurants. Room was comfortable and clean.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean comfortable. The beds were great.

The manager was sooooo lovely. She called me before we arrived, checked in on us during the stay, nothing was a problem. (Not that we had any problems!). The place was clean, beds were comfy. Nothing!!

The location was so convenient. Could walk everywhere for food and beach. We didn't have a bath mat supplied. I had an older family member with me, and she was scared to step out of the shower without a mat as she might have slipped over.
