Vista Zacatlan Hotel

There was a sewer smell, it was raining so maybe not necessary a hotel issue, I don’t know.

The amazing view from the balcony Beware if you pay by credit card. The property charges an additional 5% for using credit cards. Also the parking is reduced, you have to either leave your vehicle’s keys at the front desk or park outside in the street.

Best views, big and clean rooms, quiet place, esay check in, this is our 5th tine staying there, cant wait to go back!

No breakfast No air conditioner in the room

There was no breadfast. also asked reception to call cab for departure and never showed so ended up walked a few miles to the bus station with all the luggage..very frustrating! Perhaps the hotel could work with a cab company or transport for guest in need of transportation to the bus terminal etc! Also there was alot of construction occuring just above my room so could not relax in the room. Additionally there was a constantant vacuming occurring from employee cleaning cars throughout the stay which added to the inability to relax in the room

Love the location, the hotel have the best views, room was spacious and beds were as comfortable as you can imagine. It was a bit to fresh in the nigh ( we went during winter) , but they have excellent blankets.

The views from our balcony were breathtaking No coffee in room

we took the family room and wow !! spacious, clean , big balcony with THE view , incredible ! we had a wonderful stay! only thing missing was coffee and a fridge maybe !

I went with my parents who stayed in a room with no view, and my husband ,2 kids (3 years and 6 months), and me stayed at a room with view. I can say that the value for what you get in the room with NO view is great as it is has a very affordable rate and it is located in an excellent spot (you can walk to any poing in the center of the town where all the interesting stuff is with no problem), and you can still enjoy the AMAZING view from the lobby which is quite big, or just outside of the hotel. The room WITH the view was quite large (great balcony size), the beds were very comfortable and the blankets warm. The bathroom has a good size, the water is warm and everything was very clean and we notices that they had just painted the room. I think the room with NO VIEW has a better overall value than the room WITH VIEW (for the cons). Many rooms with no view had issues with the TV (my parents changed rooms because of that the 2nd night). The wifi did not work in the area with the view (in many devices and the staff new about this problem without fixing it). The worst part was that we were cold during the night and they did not have any space heaters (5 degrees celsius). I did not sleep well because of I was trying to make sure that my baby and little boy (who doesn't keep the covers on) were not cold during the night. The staff said that the rooms were well sealed for the cold but that was not true as we could feel a breeze entering from the balcony. The floors are cold as there are no rugs. They did not have phones (usefull to comunicate with them instead of having to go to the reception everytime we needed something). The shower was a little low for my husband, and the curtain was a little mouldy.... All that to say that the VIEW is worth more pesos, but in my opinion not the double (in many hotels you get a lot more for what we paid for the room WITH view.

The location was perfect with awesome views. The location near the city center. Great beds. The staff was not really helpful. The bathroom was really dirty with pubic hair of the previous guests.
