This 4-star hotel is located in Zadar’s historic core, just a few yards away from the Arsenal and is the location of the famous fine dining restaurant Kaštel that serves Mediterranean cuisine in elegant interiors and on a spacious terrace overlooking the garden. The property includes a spa, while free WiFi is provided in all areas. Rooms here are individually decorated and beautifully fitted with handmade art-deco furniture and hardwood flooring. Great hospitality during the entire stay from all staff and housekeepers. Modern hotel, in a historic setting. A perfect location for exploring Zadar. Parking was easy, even for my motorcycle. Air conditioning worked well, water pressure was good, sheets/bed were very comfortable, nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was lovely and relaxing with eggs made to order. Nothing! I didn’t want to leave!

This is a beautiful, high end designer boutique hotel that is absolutely beautiful and will make you feel at home. The location can’t be topped. It’s on the water and a short walk to the main shopping street in town. A wonderful compliment to beautiful Zadar! My friends recommended this hotel where they often stay. It’s lovely and I highly recommend!

Difficult to put into words the exceptional service were ceived in Zadar at the Bation - my 69 yo amputee brother suffered a fractured vertabrae on a boat trip their - freak accident - no-one's fault. The hotel staff, to a person, could not have been more caring and accomodating for the needs of my brother. From the front desk staff of Marina and the Ivan-Mario twins to the above-and-beyond personal service of Majda who accompanied my bother and his wife to the ER for hours, I cannot praise this staff any higher. Majda has turned the service component of this property into the envy of Croatia in my opinion. Also the restaurtant was an unexpected gem with Rubyn providing 5-star service to us. The breakfast was the best we had in Croatia and the staff there top notch as well. Thankyou for making our visit to your beautiful city and country such an exceptional experience! Nothing - keep doing what you are doing and you will continue to shine!

Staff are welcoming and friendly while their service efforts are graciously efficient ! Location of this historical hotel is perfect to walk around old town. Breakfast was excellent and evening cocktails are well priced and delicious. Only that we couldn’t stay longer.

The Bastion Heritage hotel is in a fantastic location in the peninsula of Zadar. Easy walk to the water, sites and restaurants The rooms and interior of the hotel look brand new. The staff is super friendly, everyone speaks English. nothing!

Lovely hotel with harbor views. Entire ground floor recently renovated. Highly rated Kastel restaurant attached. Beautiful room with large modern bath. Perfect location. Very friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend. Nothing.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location, a few minutes walk away from the Sea Organ and Monument to the Sun. The rooms are spacious and decorated with great taste, the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also went for a massage and the spa treatment was top notch

The staff is definitely the most important aspect of this Hotel. Excellent service, very friendly and hospitable. It was like going to a family’s house. Everything was quite good. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We had the suite room which was very commodious and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and sufficient. Everything was superb.

The staff was so nice. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic. It was just what we needed. I thought that they could have provided more food at the breakfast buffet. There was a lot of things that were running out and not replenished quick enough. And although they were able to get our rooms close to each other, they weren’t next to each other.
