B&B Fontana

Great location - 5 minutes walk from the main sights. Good and sufficient breakfast. Wifi is working good. There's an elevator in the building. There's a fridge in the room. You can also use the kettle, cups and mugs and tea bags / coffee in the kitchen area just outside the room. Self check-in is easy. The lady who works there is really nice, polite and friendly. Great hospitality. A couple of times we needed to leave very early in the morning, and she prepared the breakfast box for us and put it in our fridge.

We did not state a preference for a quiet room. The Fontana is located at a major rail tram intersection and can be noisy. However metal curtains can be easily lowered and suppress the noise substantially. The hostess Angelina was friendly and helpful, she and my wife became friends during our visit. No complaints

Perfect cozy place to stay for a couple of nights. I had the best sleep and Andja was the perfect host.

The location was great, the room was BIG and very comfortable, the staff was very attentive and provided me with the necessary information to move around and to park my rental car. You can walk to everywhere if you stay here! Breakfast was tasty and good!

The bed was too high, and its edges were much of discomfort to get in and out of the bed. Apart from that, everything else about this place was lovely.

Location near pedestrian street. Our Jr. suite had a jacuzzi!! Totally loved coming home to this. Room was beautiful but the buses that ran right outside our windows were very loud. Very difficult to sleep even with earplugs.

Perfect location very close to pedestrian zone of the city centre. Very nice staff. Size of the room is just accurate. Parking is quite far if you have a lot of luggage. Breakfast could be served sooner. They start at 8:30 and at that time all hosts are coming and there is not place for all of them.

Exceptional

Location and staff. Most attractions are on walking distance with plenty of groceries and restaurants nearby. Staff is friendly and hospitable. Our room had a great view and was spacious for my toddler to play. I think they can improve the mattress and add more pillows. It can be made more comfortable and will be a quick win.

This was a fantastic experience. I often stay in self-check-in places, but for some reason, it is always in Zagreb that this works smoothly every time. Thank you so much. Second and very important. My parents, who are elderly, were so happy to stay in this B&B. I was so worried about their experience, but they were so pleased. I am so grateful that they felt so happy. They were wonderfully treated in this B&B. Second, the receptionist (I forgot her name) and Ruza, who is doing the maintenance and housekeeping, were excellent and professional. I am unsure whether you provide any bonuses for your staff members, but these two ladies deserve a giant bonus. :) Plus, maybe a giant piece of chocolate cake :). They are the embodiment of what genuine hospitality means. Also, the room is well equipped, and the view is excellent. The location is unbeatable. I was unsure about previous reviews that mentioned the tram noise, but I did not hear anything. The WiFi was excellent, too. The breakfast is versatile. I am so glad that plant-based milk is provided as well. Maybe another vegan specialty like ajvar could also be included. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful stay. Everything worked well. Nothing really to add here :)
