Clean and well managed facility. Good location. Men’s bath and restroom is inside volunteer’s room and no lock on the door of men’s bath and restroom.

Location is very central, yet peaceful. We had to share a single shower and 2 toilets with the entire hostel (at least 6 rooms with 4 beds each), as the female bathroom facilities were undergoing repair. Shower and toilets were not too clean (due to intense use I guess?). Also, kitchen sink was not working properly, so they had put a large bucket in it to enable you to rinse etc., but this left a bit unhygienic situation with sometimes dirty water standing in the kitchen for hours.

The owner of the place was really nice as well as the other 2 members I have met. The place was clean and the good thing is the room I stayed in had only 3 beds, which made it more comfortable. There should be an alternative to lighting the room like light stands or something.

Great location, male staff were friendly and tried to resolve a couple of issues. Both female staff were extremely snarky and bothered by anything that extends beyond a very hasty 5 minute check-in process. NO AIR CONDITIONING FOR ALL 3 NIGHTS I was here. The 5 bed dorm was over 30⁰C at night, and that's before everyone even got into the room and was emitting their body heat. Male staff tried to resolve it on the last night I was here, but a selfish roommate who wanted a "no a/c" room (even though that's not what she booked), complained to staff and it once again got turned off. Slippers aren't assigned or cleaned daily so you are sharing everyone else's foot germs (no shoes allowed), No a/c in common area, no staff around except when doorbell rings, The locker assigned to me at check-in was for another bed # since someone else had taken mine. However, two lockers could be opened by the same key- the one assigned to me, And the one matching my bed number. I explained to female staff that I was not going to lock my stuff in a locker that someone else's key could open, especially since they could easily confuse it for their own since it matched THEIR bed number, and not mine. Again, female staff didn't see the problem. They told me to just use it anyway, the other person wouldn't know their key worked on my locker. When I said no way, they didn't want to problem solve. After several back-and-forths, my stuff ended up being stored in a locker in a private room...until that room got booked. This stay was a circus for me. I wasted tons of time chasing down things that should never have been an issue. Make sure lockers work and each key is unique. Make sure people only use the locker assigned to their bed. Set a policy that a/c is turned on at a certain time every day/night and set to a certain temp. Non-negotiable. This way it isn't one or two people ruining everyone else's experience.

This place is really wonderful! The fellow running the desk is REALLY fab! He allowed me to drop my bag off early which was a godsend. It is easy to hail an Uber from the front of the building. That said, you can walk almost everywhere. The rooms are ample size and some of the beds have curtains. Make sure you get a curtain bed. The kitchen is good and there is everything your might need to make a meal. If you are there in summer, you are right next to the best kept secret of Zagreb - the outdoor theater that shows classic movies (mostly in English with Cro subtitles) You can have a beer, bring your dog, and watch a great movie under the stars! If you have good roomies, there is nothing I can say poorly of this place. It certainly exceeded my expectations. But if you have noisy roomies or ones that insist on turning on the lights at 3am and setting off the alarm on the door 3X during the night because they can not remember how to get in and out of a door, then you will be miserable without the curtain and earplugs.

Owner friendly,place clean. Everything

The location was excellent (very close to the main square) and the place was very clean & quiet. Love the high ceilings and the separated dorms and washrooms. The window blinds were too high up to reach and the windows in our room were very large so in the morning it was very bright.

Very clean property with good amenities. The owner is very friendly and provides slippers at the door to ensure cleanliness throughout the hostel. This is not a complaint about the hostel but on a weekend night, there was a resident of an adjoining apartment who played their music at extremely loud levels late into the evening.

The facility, including the room, was clean and modern. The receptionist was very kind, and free coffee, filtered water, and a towel were provided. The room was spacious, and the lower bunk was equipped with a curtain. The bathroom was decent as well. Considering the price, it was a great place to stay.

I chose this place after reading the great reviews, and everything turned out to be true! From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, comfortable, and really at home. Everyone I met there was calm and relaxed, which made the atmosphere so peaceful. The owner was super caring and always helpful. Her local suggestions made my stay in Croatia even better — especially when she encouraged me to visit Plitvice. That trip became one of my most unforgettable memories. The hostel was very clean — fresh bed sheets, comfortable beds, and everything kept spotless. I also loved the small thoughtful touches: cups for drinking water, candies, and teas were always within easy reach. Not all hostels do that, and you can really feel that this one is welcoming you. The hot shower had great pressure, and the location couldn’t be better — walking distance to the main places in the Lower Town, with a tram stop just a few minutes away. Overall, a wonderful stay that I’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Croatia! Nothing. Maybe by adding a paper towel to wipe wet hands in the bathroom would make it even better:)

Great hospitality from the Korean couple. Feels like a homestay. Very clean rooms and baths. Entrance with cards. Very nice place to park my motorbike that I could see from the window. Very pleasent chat with the host. Also other guests were amazing. Top level location I'd say for Zagreb. I love how you needed to wear slippers (which they provide) when entering the hostel. No noise, loud music, dirt or any unpleasant experience. You also get a locker in your room which is very convenient. Wasn't sure if I needed to enter the code to the main entrance or to the hostel's door given in instructions.

Super pleasant stay! Uni and her team are super kind, accommodating, and a pleasure to talk to. The hostel is really safe, clean, and cozy. They give you everything you need - towels, slippers, bedsheets, soap/shampoo, etc. I also love that their lower bunks have privacy curtains and outlets. They also have really big lockers and provide keys.

Hostel was clean and had privacy curtains which was great. The location was ideal and it was easy to get around the city. I enjoyed my stay here. The booking page advertises free breakfast, which they do not serve, so don't book if your reason for choosing this location is the free breakfast. Feels a bit like false advertising.
