Great apartment,which is much more spacious than it looks in the photos. Really big compared to the usual ski places we rent! The owner is an artist & the room is quirkily decorated with a light up starry ceiling, a wall mural & a beautiful hand painted wardrobe. Very comfortable big bed. Well equipped with an oven, fridge (with freezer compartment), kitchen tools & a dishwasher. Lovely big bathroom with a rainfall shower. There is a furnished terrace which would be nice in the summer, looking out over the mountains. There is also access to another roof terrace with battlements to keep up the castle theme, from the corridor. Has a lift, which made taking our bags up much easier, too. Ski room in the basement with boot heater, ski racks & an extra dryer for gloves/helmets. Very close to the ski bus stop (you can see it from the front door) The journey only takes a few minutes. You can hire a locker at Zillertal Arena if you prefer & and want to spend more time at the apres ski as the last bus back is just after 5pm. It's about a 10 minute walk. Can also recommend Skiverleih Sportcenter. My skis had been poorly serviced here at home in Scotland & they re-serviced them for me overnight. Great job as that could have ruined my holiday! Thank you Walter for a great stay. We would definitely return if we come back to Zell am Ziller.

Spacious appartement centrally located in the village, walking distance everywhere, also to the ski lifts. The Romantic penthouse with artistic features, yet comfortable and functional. A practical ski room to dry your boots and skis in the downstairs. Nothing really. If I had to find anything to change, maybe I would add a bit more cutlery. Not a big deal though.

We had really a good time.

The apartment was very spacious for my family. Very nice balcony landscape. It's quiet, the catwalks are singing. If you go to the booth, you can go by car and leave it in the free parking lots at the train station, the beach. I recommend for those who arrive in Zell am Ziller to use the Activ Card from the information point in the center.

The landlord was extremely nice, friendly, and easy to deal with. The beds could have been more comfy.

Picturesque location, nice view from the balcony, lifts are very close. Very friendly host, good breakfast, easy parking possibility. Many restaurants in walking distance. Boot warmers were "inactive" during our stay, otherwise we did not have any problems.

2 minutes drive to Zillertal Arena (free skibus available), good location to drive to other resorts (Mayrhofen, Kaltenbach are 10 minutes drive from the apartment, Hintertux about 30 minutes) Remember to stay quiet after 10 pm. Zell am Ziller is a small town, you won’t find there many restaurants or pubs, but if you’re visitting it just to ski - it is more than enough

Zillertal is one of the most beatyful places in Austrian Alps, we like this place. Bit more snow on walley.
