Nice and kind staff, everything is taken care off and in a good state, the renovated rooms are very nice. The breakfast was also very good. The bathroom is a bit dated but certainly works, not really a downside though

This hotel made a very convenient base for exploring the Mosel Valley. Our room was comfortable with a fantastic view of the Mosel River.

We had a short but lovely stay at Hotel garni "Café im Hamm," which is run by a very friendly and kind couple. Our room was clean, modern, comfortable, and had a spectacular riverfront view that was breathtaking. The quaint town of Zell with its many restaurants is about a 20 min. stroll down the river (completely flat), which really isn't a problem, as it enables the property to have amble parking and unobstructed views. The breakfast was simple and tasty, with the typical German selection of meats, cheeses, breads, and cereals. The cafe and beer garden weren't yet open for lunch for dinner for the season, but they looked like they would be a lot of fun in the summer. We really appreciated the comfort of the beds, which were the best we experienced in Europe this trip. We highly recommend this property for a couple or a larger family visiting the Mosel wine region! I imagine it might get pretty hot in the middle of summer without air conditioning, but that's par for the course in Germany.

View from the room and terrace is magnificent! The room is designed to give a panoramic focus on the Mosel River and surrounding environs. The room itself is very spacious and open. Good bath and shower too! Breakfast was very good and the host made it a point to be attentive to all the little details. The breakfast room is warm and cozy. There were no pictures on the walls, perhaps by design since the view is so stunning, but barren walls make the room feel a bit stark.

Brekfast is so good. Building is old, bathroom equipment is old but are working. But towels must be change. They are not white, obvious grey.
