Location was great, on site parking was a big plus. The Restaurant is fantastic. Every staff person I talked to was helpful and friendly. The hotel accomodated my late arrival and was understanding.

We chose the Hotel Schloss Zell because we wanted to stay in a castle, and it didn't disappoint. Our tower room was surprisingly spacious and lovely. The bathroom was sparkling clean and modern. We opted to eat all dinners in Giovanni's, the on-site restaurant, with delicious food and service. The location was ideal -- mere steps from the Moselle River walk, shops, and bus stop (10-minute bus ride to Bullay train station). Our hosts, Jana and Giovanni, were gracious and helpful!

Close to bus stop, town center and river. No elevator, but the staff carried my suitcases. ?

Beautiful property, excellent location. Everything was wonderful.

The hotel location is excellent, near the centre but still very quiet There is ongoing work being carried out to upgrade the hotel but it was not impactful. Hotel Schloss is highly recommended. Our stay there was a truly lovely experience. .

The room was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was wonderful Breakfast was fine, but nothing great. No problem at all.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Zell. They have a restaurant as well (we didnt try it ourselves). Breakfast is super, people are super friendly. Bikes could not be stored inside, but that was not a problem for us.

Location was wonderful! Perfect base to see the city and surrounding area. Room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Noise from the street and nearby rooms was sometimes disruptive.

The hotel is a charming small castle, run by kind and friendly staff. The owner hold the kitchen opened late, waiting for us, as we were hold up in bad traffic due to bad weather. She even hold a garage spot with her car to guarantee us a parking place near the hotel, as we arrived too late. Small details that make a great difference when looking after client needs. Church bell ringing close by in the morning. There is nothing you could do about it, as you could listen anywhere in town probably.

Location and the lovely building. No in room facilities, for example, fridge, mini bar, tea or coffee or iron.
-
Breakfast and Restaurant very good Wifi, especially in the room could be better, and would like some tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The staff and cleanliness Needs to be updated

Warm and very lovely welcome by the hosts. Brilliant breakfast at the Italian restaurant next door (as the breakfast space was being refurbished), I hope they keep that going though. Lots of character and great location for tours around and along the Mosel. The rooms towards the front can be a bit loud if there are guests or visitors from the restaurant sitting in the courtyard until late at night. Would have loved to see more of the character of the building and history shine through (maybe add some facts as leaflet / part of the room tour?). We had a great stay overall though, can very much recommend!

ITS A CASTLE!!! The architecture and general aura of the place is incredible Great breakfast The feel of the place was very intimate - the staff took the time to get to know us and gave great local recommendations, The tower room is comfortable, antique, spacious, and just cool. There was no A/C - only a fan and it didn't do much against the mid-summer heat. The wifi was dismal - it didn't work in my room at all and even down on the first floor in the main lobby, it struggled.
