basic room , but had a bed and a shower, check in was simple room overlooked a busy street so noise went on until early hours and we had asked for a quiet room. we paid £150 for the one night which was very expensive, we have stayed in Zurich before in better hotels for a better price

Easy Hotel Zurich The good thing about the hotel is the storage lockers which are free and easy to use. Check in is computerized and easy. Otherwise the room was quite clean and modern. After checking out and removing my suitcase from the locker I sat on the floor for 10 minute to rest and text. There is no furniture in the 2x2 meters approx. entrance Lobby. As i was resting on the floor, a member of staff with a Russian accent told me to leave and just kicked me out of the hotel. This was the first time I was kicked out of a hotel I just stayed in. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels world wide. I will not stay in this hotel again even if it was for free. Minimum Lighting in the room and I felt the room was too dark. TV partly working. Window could not be opened wide as it was fixed and therefore shutters could not be closed. Light penetrating the room made it hard to fall asleep. Very minimal room with no Kettle for making a drink. The Acoustics in the room are of low standard I was woken up at 4:00 a.m. buy my neighbors next door chatting. While watching television I could hear my neighbors having sex. They were also having a discussion at 4:30 a.m. and watching television. I tried to use earplugs for sleeping but they did not help. The bathroom is like a very minimal unit made out of plastic similar to toilets in an airplane. The WC is positioned one meter approx. from the bed and it is an unpleasant feeling sleeping near a WC. Otherwise the room was clean and modern.

Basic but clean Lack of sockets. Couldn't easily find the light when I first went in. No air con. Check in needs to say 'now take a BLANK key card to make your room key; - not 'take a card'. sounds stupid, but I honestly thought it meant my credit card I was very tired and didn't easily notice the key cards and it caused a lot stress. i couldn't seem to contact you via phone - don't know why. Some others helped me in the end, when it became obvious.

Pillows were very small and low. Not good for us old folks. Luggage lift has the advice of " use at your own risk"'. Not comforting advice so we carried our bags up two floors. I assumed that if there was heating there also be cooling. This was wrong on my behalf. Only one small fan a hot days is not fun.

Easy check in. The room was basic and I think it was costly for what you get

Close to the station No lift and the baggage lift didn’t work. No signs pointing out there was a baggage lift. No hot water in the afternoon. Bed far too low. Virtually no tv channels.
