The location was great and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was not worth the $22 US that I paid. It’s simply a continental breakfast, and there are so many much better places for less cost nearby.

Clean and comfortable hotel in a friendly area In July, the temperature was over 30 degrees Celsius. There was no air conditioning in the room, only a fan, and it was stuffy at night. Perhaps a floor-standing air conditioner would have improved the comfort.

The bathrooms and showers were shared, but they were very pleasant. We were provided with fans because there was no AC. There were lots of hooks in the room, and we had some beautiful windows. The breakfast was delicious, but we were not told the price before and had assumed it was included because of that. Afterwards we learned it was more than 20 euro a person, some transparency would have been nice.

The staff were lovely and the balcony was a nice treat.

All eight persons loved Mac, the person who greeted us when we arrived. He really set the tone for the trip and made a positive impression on our first time to Switzerland. The lobby was very comfortable and decorated nicely. The rooms were perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was perfect. Plenty of selection and excellent quality. The hotel staff offered us some great recommendations on places to eat and directions. I would positively stay at the St. George next time I come to Zurich. The only thing I would recommend is for the hotel to use their influence to have the graffiti in the neighborhood removed.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Zurich main train station, along with another nearby train and tram station. The room is very clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The area outside the hotel feels safe to walk around at night. There is a nice pedestrian path by the hotel along the Sihl River. The lack of air conditioning in the summer was challenging. It was necessary to sleep with an electric fan and open window.

Shared bathroom for a triple room but it was very clean!

Location and staff I arrived at around 12:00 a.m. for my check-in and, of course, expected there to be someone at the reception, as you would normally find in a hotel. I later saw a message stating that reception is only open until 11:00 p.m., but I had not received any instructions, access code, or information on how to enter after hours. I ended up waiting outside for about 15–20 minutes until, fortunately, another couple staying at the property arrived. I asked them if they could help me get into the reception area so I could figure out what to do and where I was supposed to stay. Once inside, I found an envelope at the reception with my name and my room key. If it hadn’t been for that couple, I honestly don’t know where I would have spent the night. I also think it should be clearly stated that this is not really a hotel but more of a hostel. Although the room is private, the bathroom is shared. Additionally, there is no air conditioning; only fans are provided. In summer, this can make the room quite hot, as there is only heating available for winter. The staff was very friendly, but the arrival experience was very stressful, and I believe this information should be communicated more clearly to avoid similar situations for future guests.

The office staff were wonderful. The beds were extremely comfortable. Property was clean, breakfast was fairly good and had nice restaurant that was attached. The distance from Lucerne was a little farther than I liked.

Room size and bedding No tea kettle in room

Our room shared a bathroom and toilet with two other rooms. This was my first time experiencing .

It was so clean and well taken care of. Modern It was a bit far from center if you come with big suitcases.

We had a great stay! The beds were very comfortable, the room was bright and cheery, with plenty of floor and cabinet space, and the shared bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean and easy to access day and night. There’s a small elevator that was useful for our heavy bag. We also enjoyed the optional breakfast. I have no complaints.
-
The pillow was too thin and the sink in the room was a bit too small. They do store luggage after check-out but keep in mind that they don’t have a separate room for it, they put them in the breakfast area.
-
The room was very spartan but comfortable, clean and quiet. This wasn't the nicest hotel that we've stayed in by far, but it got the job done in an otherwise expensive city! There was a bit of a smell coming from the toilet room.
-
The employee very nice and attentive.

The hotel had advertised that the bathrooms were shared, in the hallway, so I was already aware. My son was not a fan of not having a private bathroom, but the bathrooms and shower were close to our room, spacious, clean and easy to access. I didn't mind this at all.

Staff was fantastic and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was very clean and well maintained too. All was good.
