There was no breakfast included but there are lots of nice restaurants close by. Location is fabulous. The room was large and had a small toilet and sink inside. Nice view to the shopping streets downstairs but there's loud construction on the rathause Bridge, July 2026. Nice portable a/c fans in the room. Pillows are very hard. But new, Bamboo brand. Toilet in the room but showers were upstairs, two very steep flights of stairs.

The location of the Hostal is really central, and close to the river and the first attraccions. Don't have kitchen, and is necessary .

I had a wonderful stay at Friendly Hostel Zürich for 3 nights. The rooms were very clean, and everything was perfect throughout my stay. I didn't face any difficulties at all. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, the facilities were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable. The location is excellent—very close to Zürich HB station, making it easy to explore the city and travel around. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Zürich!

The bed was comfortable, people staying their were kind, and the lockers were useful. The staff was unwilling to help me after my travel plans changed so they charged me for 2 days I wasn’t even there even though I gave them weeks of advanced notice that I couldn’t be there. They make everyone make their own bed and have a lot of strict rules posted everywhere. One of them was no shoes were allowed in the rooms even though the floors were unclean. The person that checked me in also seemed like I was more of a bother to her than a guest. There aren’t enough toilets for the amount of guests it was a race to the bathrooms.

Very central. Nice terace and little common living rooms. We apreciated to be given beeds as we requested. "Friendly Hostel" but the attitude is not very friendly - you pay if you come later, you pay to leave bags, there are warnings everywhere about how much you pay if that ...or that. A bit of a weird vibe in that sense. The place is very tight and i think the number of toilets are a bit little if the place is full capacity.

This hostel felt like a home. It was so cozy and welcoming. Really nice rooms, bathrooms, and an upper common area/terrace. The woman working there seemed to be the owner and was running the place all alone. She was very welcoming and kind. I would definitely stay here again if I were ever in Zurich!

Very well located in the old city center. Clean facilities. Cozy terrace. late check-in time.. (only possible starting from 4pm)
