Queensbridge Hotel

The surrounding are pretty quiet except the seagulls in the morning but I don't mind that at all. Very close to the sea. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff that made me feel welcome. I was on fourth floor and there were about 78 steps from the front of the property. No extractor fan in the shower/toilet.

Located directly on the seaside. Nice staff at breakfast. Breakfast in a window-less room in the basement. Worn and spotty carpet in the room. Dusty bathroom. No towels at our arrival.

The staff at The Queensbridge are exceptional! 10/10 friendly, kind, helpful and hardworking. They were absolutely fantastic with our son an extra shout out goes to Kaja (apologies if I have misspelled your name) Anything we needed they did their best to accommodate, a later check in, extra in room sundries, a fan etc We are extremly appreciative Some minor facility issues

Hot breakfast was lovely good enough selection for family. Attentive service even personal choice of eggs offered for my picky boy

The lady who was cooking breakfast was very pleasant and helpful. The lift doesn't go to the 4th floor and can't be used after 9.00pm. My husband struggles with mobility and uses a walking stick.The lift stopped working altogether while we were there. We, therefore, had to have a room on a lower floor, which had 2 extra beds in it, making it very cramped. We had a lot of luggage as we had been touring, and we struggled to get up the very narrow and steep stairs. The room facilities were very poor and not as listed. The tea/ coffee machine was, in fact, just a kettle. There was no tea, hot chocolate, biscuits, or mineral water. The reception closed while we were out, so we were not able to ask about this.The wardrobe, which had no doors, was unusable as it had a bed in front of it. Wires from the TV hung dangerously over this bed. The room and furnishings were very shabby, and the carpet was awful. I was concerned about the cleanliness of the room. In fact, the cleanliness of the hotel in general leaves a lot to be desired.The lasting impression is of a place well past its prime.

Good location and friendly staff. Room booked not like photos and not as described. Room not cleaned. Dodgy lift.

Nothing as we didnt even get to stay there. We recieved a phone call on the morning of check in date telling us there was a problem with the room. They had moved us to their sister hotel. Specifically booked this hotel for the sea view, the sister hotel was around the back street.

Near the beach nice view Needs to be maintained better

Disappointing

Breakfast was poor, greasy, instant coffee served in teapots! Location was fantastic Very run down throughout. Lift very poor didn’t go to every floor and stopped working during use. Lock on room door needed replacing you would struggle to get out in a fire. Some of the toiletries had already been used (disgusting) curtains were filthy and falling off the rail. Overall deco very poor, hand sanitizers on every floor were empty. One girl serving breakfast would lay the table and then clean around the supposedly clean cups and cutlery. No parking even though advertised as 1 parking space.

Location is excellent Lift was out of order, had to get my son to carry my cases as I have recently recovered from back issue. Found a hair wrapped around bacon which put me off eating and multiple hairs in shower/bath and on the beds. All dark and long hairs gutted as location is excellent.

Staff were friendly and room was spacious with comfortable bed. Bathroom was smelly and damp. The window was hanging off by a single hinge and the lift was so small it made me feel claustrophobic.
