The breakfast was absolutely wonderful - the quality far surpassed expectations (and considering it was included in the room price ... just fantastic). Room was comfy and surprisingly spacious. Location was stunning and having a pint on the porch overlooking the sea, was a fabulous way to wind down every evening. Nothing, it was a wonderful experience.

Bar/restaurant in lobby was fun!

Location - great view of the ocean, Helpful staff. Good vibe in the bar and restaurant. Plenty of space in the room.

The view from our room was spectacular. Great location, walkable to town and local sites. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good. We were able to eat dinner there on 2 nights without a booking, but probably only because we ate at off times. It was a very popular place. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the sea view. The bed was comfy, Breakfast was lovely Would definitely stay again

Great location on the seafront, room very comfortable. Hotel was busy which was great to see. The staff were all exceptionally friendly. Enjoyed my visit and would use again Parking a bit hit and miss. The hotel is a tad more expensive compared to similar hotels that I used during my stay around Wales. No lift

Clean There was no lift

Great stay. Staff is terrific. Free upgrade to a sea view. Amazing listening to the waves crashing all night. Great restaurant for dinner and the free breakfast was first class.
-
The hotel bar and restaurant area is very welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast was okay, but not as good as I'd hoped considering how lovely the hotel is - wet toast with poached eggs, limited choice...
-
Some minor failings that are not worth mentioning. The hotel is also a bub - but that was not a problem as it was quiet type.

View was excellent and breakfast met expectations. The room was smaller than anticipated.

Property is right across from the sea. Beautiful views! Heloful staff, clean room, good breakfast.

Dinner, Breakfast, View from Room, Decor, Service, Staff. Carrying 3 suitcases up 2 flights of stairs, Bed was uncomfortable.

Really fabulous inn with a wonderful restaurant with a water view. The room was spacious, the breakfast generous and delicious (with lot of variety). The restaurant serves delicious food as well. Perfect place to read a book by the lovely picture window facing the water or take a stroll along the boardwalk. Very cozy and welcoming. Very professional staff as well. Highly recommend! The location has no public transportation and a 10-15 minute walk from town (about 20 minutes from the university). Taxes are difficult to get unless the inn calls for one. Not a whole lot of things to do in town, but it is still a wonderful place to stay if you are staying in Aberswyth.

Excellent breakfast and location!

We loved our stay here! We opted for a sea view room and loved it. Room and bathroom were spacious for an older building. Pub below was outstanding! Breakfast was incredible! Owner and staff were absolutely great too. I suppose climbing very narrow steps would be hard for larger or older people, or someone with a lot of luggage. We liked it.

Breakfast had to be ordered and was limited in options.

My Wife and I arrived from the US and drove by car from London and arrived at 11:15pm, we got to the hotel and the doors were locked, we knocked and couldn't get in. We messaged the hotel multiple times, called the hotel - no answers, no messages from the hotel saying they were shutting down early or wondering what time we were coming since we hadnt arrived yet. We were stranded with no place to stay. Incredible. Asked for a refund, they said no. Wow. So what did I pay $175 USD for? Stress? We had to call around and find a hotel that checked people in all night in town or else we woulda had to sleep in our car and it was quite cold outside. Not sure what kind of high ranked hotel doesnt stay open to check people in?
