Comfort Inn Acworth - Kennesaw Northwest

From check-in to check-out this hotel provided the amenities and the service we needed to fully enjoy our trip to Georgia.

Clean room comfortable bed friendly staff

Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected the overall experience. At check-in, the staff member tried to charge us an early check-in fee for arriving about an hour before the official check-in time, even though the hotel appeared to have plenty of availability. The front desk was also frequently unattended. There was a sign saying “Be right back in 15 minutes,” but the staff was not consistently present. The lobby itself felt very low-budget, with the TV turned off and the living room area closed. The sofas were actually being used to fold towels and sheets, which did not give a very welcoming impression. The pool was a big disappointment. It was dirty, with leaves and a large number of mosquitoes. The water and surrounding area made us feel itchy. The towels provided for the pool were folded but were already wet and had an unpleasant smell. We also noticed an excessive number of security cameras and felt like guests were being watched very closely throughout the property, which made us uncomfortable. Overall, the room itself was fine, but the common areas, pool, front-desk service, and overall atmosphere need significant improvement.

The staff wasn't too friendly and the bathroom shower curtain wouldn't close. It was just strange..

Nothing Bugs tv not working tub leaking still haven’t received my deposit of 50$ two weeks later

Location Hotel is in desperate need of repair and maintenance. Carpets are stained, walls need repair, furniture looks like it was just purchase from a thrift shop. Place is extremely run down. I’ve stayed at other Comfort Inn hotels and this is by far the worst.

Convenient to our destinstion

It was a decent stay for the convenience. I don't have any complaints. The only thing is that the TV in the room was extremely small, but the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable with clean sheets and linen.

I did not receive a confirmation so I booked a different hotel. The Holiday Inn express could not reach Comfort Inn please credit my credit card thank you.

Clean, friendly staff & great location for my visit N/A

Good location for us The shower was broken and you had to hold the shower head in your hand. We leave the bathroom light on at nite but couldn’t here as only one switch for light and really, really loud exhaust vent. We had to leave a light in the room. On. Not good. I am going to share all my issues here. I think we had a basketball team on the first floor with us. There was shouting, door slamming [not closing but slamming] doors being pounded on, violet shouting like fighting, etc until 11;30. There was no attempt to stop this. The buffet had no milk, no meat, the trash can was overflowing. The worst ever. I cannot believe they would present this as accepted. We ate at 9 and it was opened for another hour. When checking out the lady was on the phone in a foreign language and keep taking talking. I requested a receipt as she didn’t offer one. I finally told her to hang up. How rude. She did hang up or the other person quit talking. We will probably be back next year with a big group and I will tell everyone to avoid this hole.

It was a nice stay and worked for what we needed

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. It feels a little old and outdated. The breakfast was not my favorite. Only protein is eggs and round fatty sausage.

Location The first room we were assigned smelled like raw sewage and heavy chemicals. Requested another room and it had poop all over the toilet.

The location was good. The staff were nice. It’s just an older hotel. It served its purpose but I feel like it could use a lot of updating. The beds were not comfortable at all!

It was clean but just a very older outdated property. I felt icky, couldn’t relax. Also we were there for a ball tournament , I tried to check in at 145 as wouldn’t be back until 930 that night. I was told there would be a fee if Indidbt wait until 3pm. It would be nice to have that notice posted somewhere in the hotel or get a message upon booking that this is a rule. I waited in line behind others checking out and got off the interstate several exits from the tournament when all that could have been avoided and not a waste of my time.

Ladies at the front desk are really nice but that’s about the only thing that’s nice about this hotel. Rooms are outdated, smelled like wet dog. I found a hair in the refrigerator.You have to hold the shower head in order to shower. I do not like to give bad reviews but I expect more for the price.
