Located in central city Rooms are old and rundown Booked for a double bed but given single bed ! Poor communication from front desk Very overpriced! This is almost a 3 star

Clean property, nice dining/kitchen/breakfast/lounge area Security guard was rude (18 August 1 AM). Was locked outside on the first night due to the swipe card not working as the security guard wasn’t stationed there. Had to wait solid 5 minutes. Reception on 19 August could be better, when I tried to put my bag after checkout, he could explain and instructed me to keep the tag batter, don’t instruct me like I’m a child. Reception on the 17 midnight was very friendly.

The location, interior, staff manner and room we had were all exceptional and very inviting. The hotel restaurant was also very lovely, having buffet breakfast and dinner there that last night, the food was great! I can't fault anything about this experience!

Good facilities. Neat, clean and modern well designed rooms. Friendly staff. Centrally located. Very reasonable price and decent breakfast included. Quiet location within the CBD. The air conditioning was a bit noisy for me (I'm a light sleeper) and so I turned it off during the night to sleep. The room temperature without it was adequately cosy anyway.

The location was great, the room was good but I would have liked a little more space in the room and the fridge. I think you should add bacon to the buffet breakfast.

The shower and the bedroom next to it wasn't very functional. Have to be careful not to slip and fall. Room is clean and staff are excellent. Breakfast is ok, coffee wasn't always warm. Prefer the coffee machine. Food was just OK at breakfast, but not the best breakfast experience. Shower in room is too slippery, breakfast was OK but not memorable experience for Holiday Inn standard.
